Starting your Azure cloud adventure can be exciting and perhaps a little intimidating, especially when it comes to the initial setup of your account. Here's a detailed and reliable guide to setting up your Azure account securely and efficiently, while maximizing the benefits offered.
To begin, you must go to the link provided in the course resources and select the "Try Azure for free" option. Here you will be prompted to enter a valid email address. Once this is done, you will follow a simple validation process. You can opt to receive a notification on your phone to confirm that you are the one logging in, ensuring the security of your account.
When you create your account, Azure offers you a free subscription with a credit of US$200. This credit is more than enough to learn and experiment with the resources offered in the course. However, you must enter a payment method, such as a credit or debit card, to cover any expenses that exceed this credit, although within the framework of the course, this should not be necessary.
During the enrollment process, Azure offers the option to add technical support. If you do not plan to deploy high-impact or critical solutions, you do not need to sign up for support. This will allow you to focus on exploring and learning without additional worries.
After creating your account, Azure will present you with a brief tutorial. By spending a few minutes on this tutorial you can gain a better understanding of the platform. Initially, Azure will display in English, but don't worry, the language can be easily changed in the settings by selecting the language option and changing it to Spanish for convenience.
Setting up your account by following these steps will not only set you up for success in your learning with Azure, but will also ensure that you feel confident and comfortable with the platform. Don't miss the opportunity to explore all that Azure has to offer, and continue learning with confidence!
