How to have a positive attitude?
Emotional intelligence is related to positive attitude because it helps to control our emotions. Check out these 7 tips to change your attitude.
1. Think positive
Thinking positive means thinking more "yes" than "no", thinking that you can or thinking that everything is beautiful. You have that mindset and from there you will start to communicate and relate differently.
2. Visualize prospects for improvement
Think that there are prospects for improvement in situations, that is, think that there is a possibility of hope, of positive change.
3. Be grateful
Being grateful and recognizing the positive aspects of different situations, different people or even of life itself.
4. Identify your areas of negativity
Start by identifying the areas of your life where you are not having a positive attitude. For example, how you are at work, how you are with your friends, how you are with your family or how you are with your partner.
If you don't know where you are having non-positive attitudes ask someone else in each of these areas.
5. Keep an improvement journal
Keep a notebook with you where you can write down the improvements you have made in a day, a week or a month. Focusing on the positive aspects of your life rather than the negative ones will give you more confidence.
6. Spend time with positive people
Joy like a positive attitude is contagious. The more time you spend with people with an improving mindset and positive energy, the more you will feel that you can reach your goals and not get discouraged.
7. Practice meditation
In addition to reducing your stress levels, meditation helps your mind to focus on positive aspects and enter a relaxed state to cope with different situations.
Why is it important to maintain a positive attitude?
A person with a positive attitude has better health, their energy is always up and they tend to be more productive. Positive people are better able to cope with change, have effective communication and more effective control of their emotions.

- Do you see any aspects of a non-positive attitude in yourself?
I tend to feel that I'm not very good at doing the things I set out to do and that sometimes causes me to leave them half done. Sometimes I feel that people judge me (I think these are insecurities).
I also feel that I don't try very hard to understand others and I tend to be very individual.
I tend to get carried away a lot by emotions and not by reason or logic, I tend to judge an event or an experience through emotionality, and with that conditioning it's usually negative thoughts.
- What do you do to change your non-positive attitudes?
I use positive and negative visualization. I associate positive visualization with pleasure and satisfaction and negative visualization with physical pain to "hack the brain". I also give thanks every day, morning and evening, so I don't forget or belittle what I have and where I am.
Lastly, I meditate every day to be more aware of my thoughts and manage them to be more positive to keep me with a better attitude.

Sometimes I think that something is going to be very complicated or I think about the difficulties it might give me or I just think a lot about doing something because of some kind of fear of the outcome.

I always try to get inspired by other things and reflect that in what I think I can't do, I read some stories or books to make me believe in myself and overcome those fears.
I become my own cheerleader and give myself a lot of encouragement even if another part of me is afraid to do them.
