Backlog and Milestone 1.0

  • It鈥檚 time to set up your software development dashboard aka backlog for iteration I.
  • The Backlog is actually a big board, physical or digital, to keep tabs on what work鈥檚 in the pipeline, what鈥檚 in progress, and what鈥檚 done.

Qu茅 es un milestone

Un milestone es el primer hito de entrega m谩s relevante, piensa en esa meta importante con la cual puedes brindar tranquilidad a tu cliente y puedes asegurarte de que este vea resultados.

  • Reach it as early as you can, during Milestone 1.0 try to iterate around once a month to keep your development work on track.
  • When you don鈥檛 have enough time to build everything, asks the customer to reprioritize.
  • Once you have agreed upon an achievable set of user stories for milestone 1.0. Set up your backlog and get developing.

鈥淎ll good things must come to an end鈥. Tu proyecto tiene que tener un final, la priorizaci贸n de las tareas y la entrega continua de hitos genera la satisfacci贸n del cliente y la eventual finalizaci贸n del proyecto con 茅xito.

Hi everyone:

This is an example of the user mapping stories鈥

In my experience, I recommend this type of board, because I use it and it has been awesome to develop a project in this form.

I recommend the kanban board, because is very easy to use.

.

This is commonly used in the software development.

And in the real life, hahaha, so, this is an example for you apply it:

Look at mine, I use every day for my tasks.

Thanks Platzi-teacher and Platzi-mates

There are great software tools like JIRA to manage Dev projects 馃槈

I think the backlog is not the board for see what鈥檚 happening in the project, backlog is the place where you can store all the features are not assigned into an iteration yet and the right name of the board is Kanban board. Please correct me if I am wrong.

About backlogs 馃槂

I love your last phrase鈥 鉂わ笍

Backlog and Milestone 1.0
understanding of your customer and their requirements.
accumulation concepts and the 1.0 milestone. What is the delay? Well, the backlog is nothing more than a big dashboard in your office, you鈥檒l set it up to track your development process.

the big blackboard on the wall, the dashboard, the backlog. So these are different names that the backlog will have. to control what work is in process, what work is in progress, and what work is done.

the 1.0 milestone it is very important that you set up your iterations in such a way as to allow you to reach your 1.0 milestone, which will be your first deliverable and will be your first major software release as soon as possible. Once a month is the industry standard

because if you iterate once a month, you鈥檒l have enough time to talk to your customer to get feedback from him or her, and basically make all the necessary adjustments you need. When you don鈥檛 have enough time, go back to your client and ask. to reprioritize. set up your backlog, set up your pipeline, and build.

What are the most relevant functionalities for you?

Backlog: The work to be done.
Milestone 1.0: Is a important point in your workflow, in your deliverings.

One of the tools that I think have really good features to create this backlog it鈥檚 Miro. It 虂s reliable to create this sticky notes with your team and diagrams

Can anyone se the results of the Google form鈥檚 quizzes?

Is it correct to say that Trello is a good tool to do this? I鈥檓 not a developer btw

Ok, the backlog or porduct backlog is a veryy useful tool in scrum or agile develoment, normally we have a backlog for all the product and we take some items for each iteration鈥 in this way we can prioritize one by one鈥

that鈥檚 a little more of agile that is completly around these videos themes

I wasn麓t familiar with the term backlog but I did know the meaning thanks to the Trello couse

In order to be a professional developer, we need to take into account this types of skills.

Backlog
It鈥檚 your software development dashboard
- Sticky notes with different colors
- Keep track on what work is in
鈼 Pipeline
鈼 Progress

Milestone 1.0
Deliver as early as you can

What happen when the customer needs all user stories at the finish of iteration. The best way to do it, could be hire more personal?

very important
