  • Headquarters (n.) - a company's main office.

  • Turnover (n.) - an amount of money a company receives from sales in a particular period.

  • Net profit (n.) - the money a company makes after taking away its costs and taxes.

  • Branch (n.) - a store or office representing a large company or organization in a particular area.

  • CEO (Chief Executive Officer or President) (n.) - the most senior manager in a corporation who has more authority than anyone else and is responsible for its success.

  • COO (Chief operating officer) (n.) -the person who is responsible for the daily operation of a corporation.

  • CFO (Chief financial officer) (n.) - a person responsible for managing the company's finances, including financial planning, management of financial risks.

  • NDA (Non-disclosure agreement) (n.) - a document that a lot of workers sign up, to agree not sharing important information about the company.

  • B2B (Business to business) (n.) - a part of a company that is responsible for selling goods and services to other businesses.

  • B2C (Business to consumer) (n.) - a part of a company that is responsible for selling goods and services to the general public.

  • Cash flow (n.) - the movement of cash in and out of a business.

  • Export (n.)- the practice or business of selling goods to another country.

  • Export (v.)- to send a product to another country so that it can be sold there.

  • Import (n.)- a product from another country, that is bought with money from your country.

  • Import (v.)- to buy a product from another country and bring it to your country

  • GDP (Gross domestic product) (n.) the sum of all goods and services produced in the country’s economy.

  • Value (n.)- the thing that you believe is important in the way you live and work.

  • Low-context cultures (n.) - cultures that require little or no explanation of orders and requests..

  • High-context cultures (n.)- cultures that require and expect much more explanation about orders and directions
