How to get your dream job?
Fake it till you make it
"If you´re not confident, pretend to be it"
Remember: you´re applying for your dream job! The job that you always wanted! Don’t miss that golden opportunity.
I want to share with you this interesting video about the elevator pitch. (It’s in Spanish, sorry)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2b3xG_YjgvI
• Research is the key! You need to learn about the company, its values, and what they do
• Your personal profile, especially on LinkedIn, be sure everything is updated and makes it looks correct.
• Create and share your projects, most of the big companies started with projects like yours.
• Elevator pitch is a professional summary about you that is short. No more than 30 seconds, because it’s something you should be able to say while you are riding in an elevator. This must contain: who you are, what you do, what you are good at and why they should hire you.
• Apply for jobs and be prepared to interview, try to be confident and if you are not confident pretend to be it!
• Networking, probably the most important, because the people you meet may help you in the future to get your dream job. Built professional relationships.
Good relationships are one of the best personal introductions…
Elevator pitch probably will never be the same due to the covid 19 contingency, the last photos that I saw from my friends in companies elevators are completely alone, what environment or situation do you think will be our next “Elevator” ?

I agree with Jess, we must be prepared to be interviewed, sometimes the imposter syndrome makes us think that we are not suitable for a certain job, so we should just apply and let fears away.
Networking

Personal branding is really important and has an own website can be possible to find a better job. And maybe get reviews of your clients if you are freelance. And make personals challenges and projects.

thanks for all your recommendations!
You’ve got the “no”, do the possible to convert it to a “yes”, you have to try and take the risk, the worst thing that could happen is that you get that work!
