  • Let鈥檚 talk about what you have to do as a leader:

    1. DECISION MAKING: Involve my team in these decisions. So they don鈥檛 feel like the decision is imposed upon them. They feel like they had a part of it.
      DELEGATION: Delegation is very important because you can鈥檛 do everything yourself. You have to learn that some people have certain skills and they鈥檙e better than you.

    2. MANAGEMENT and SUPERVISION: What can we do to make it easier for your team or what does your team need we have to give them all of the tools. Setting goals for yourself and for your team and also check that those goals are being met and helping them along the way.

    3. MOTIVATING and MENTORING: we have to keep the spirits high. People who are motivated work really well. You have to keep motivation high with compliments, games and gamification.

  1. CONFLICT RESOLUTION: As a leader , you could have a conflict between two people. You have to step in separately and listen to both sides of the story. You have them talk to each other. You are a mediator.
I've always thought that i have strengths of a leader jsjs, and i like to feel that way. I think that will help me in the future

management and supervision. Things are going well with setting goals for yourself and your team and also checking that those goals are being met and helping them along the way.
conflict resolution. As a leader, you need to step in, separate them, listen to both sides of the story, and get them talking to each other.

There are conflicts that are easy to solve, but in cases of workplace harassment where there is no proof. How can we handle it?. Also if the leader is a man it gets harder because someone would think that this leader is partial. Do you have any experience about this type of conflict?.

I consider that doesn鈥檛 matter how powerful a company is all should have a mentoring program.

In my experience, I think in Latinamerica most companies have a great weakness of supervision, also employees need to be supervised otherwise they鈥檒l waste their time

Nowadays I鈥檓 implementing gamification to achieve work goals with my team and the motivation has increased a lot

delegation is important, also is important to know what are the things that can鈥檛 be delegated as a leader roll, dealing with uncertainty is one of these things.

I鈥檝e worked for two American companies, the one I鈥檓 currently working for have a great mentoring program, my mentor provides guidelines and helps you to improve your work so you can get better feedback from customers, and is provided every 20 to 40 days. The other one, with which I finished my contract last June, had Zero mentoring they had weekly meetings where they just give you information and they constantly were reminding you that your job is never safe and you may lose it at any time.

* We have to keep the spirit high in our team to receive better results and have a better enviroment when we work. because if you are desmotivate you can not do a better job.

* Some times in your team should person can have differents point of views and it could make conflicts in your team, as a team leader you must a balance in both to resolve that problem and keep the peace and friendship with them.
