There are two types of speakers. Very formal speakers that learn English in Business school (by example) and others that speak with a lot of slang. The goal of this course is to get a clever hybrid between this two.
What i love the most about platzi are their videos, with such audio quality and short duration, It is by far the best way to learn something new, like the 3 P’s.
To listen different accents help us to improve our learning.
Learned formal English from school but I truly learned English with some folks and mates on the internet which was great to my slang and my terrible habit of reductions and such.
However, I’m aware of the formal needs so I can switch from those two. Sometimes I even use formal-informal in the same sentence and I think that I must seem pretty weird, but I don’t care as long as it’s with friends.
