Saber cómo hablar acerca de ventajas o desventajas para un tema específico, ayudará a enriquecer tus conversaciones en inglés. Estos son algunos ejemplos y el vocabulario apropiado:
Talking about advantages
- Definition: An advantage is anything that provides a more favorable position or outcome.
- Example: When a soccer team plays in their home stadium.
Talking about benefits
- Definition: An advantage or profit gained from something.
- Example: Playing with my cats is definitely a benefit of working at home.
Talking about opportunities
- Definition: A time or set of circumstances that makes it possible to do something.
- Example: Recent events have given many people the opportunities to work remotely.
Talking about disadvantages
- Definition: A circumstance or condition that is not favorable and reduces the chances of success.
- Example: Living far away from your office can have some disadvantages if you don’t work remotely.
Talking about conflicts
- Definition: A serious disagreement or argument.
- Example: I had a lot of conflict with my team in the beginning, but we managed to resolve the issues.
Talking about repercussions
- Definition: An unintended consequence of an event or action, especially an unwelcome one.
- Example: I didn’t think about the repercussions before I said that.
