Before
my name is Juan, I´m 24 years old and i´m a graphic designer an a
multinational company in the united states, i was born in colombia and
i have lived there my whole life, i have been working with a company
for a year now, i started as an intern and they officially hired me six months ago
i currently live in florida and i like it here as i always find a lot of latinos, it feels like home
but after finishing my university i´ve always wanted to do my master´s degree and at the
beginning of the year i got accepted with a partially scholarship, i am thrilled,
the only problem is that the university is far from here in the north of the country
in chicago illinois, despite been far from where i live in the fact that i do not like the cold,
i really want to go, but for that to happened i need to plan many things, the first
is to get a loan from the bank since i did not get a full scholarship and my salary is
not the best, the second thing any to do is talk to my boss, the economy is complicated right
now and i can,t do it without my job, i know the company has an office in chicago so
i would like to talk her about the posible transfer, the third and probably the most fun is to
buy new clothes i´ve never seens snow, i always lived in warm places, so i need to get ready
and have at least one warm coat since i am going to get there in a cold season, i already have
all the documents ready, i already took a look at the place to stay for the first few weeks
that i am there, any would be terrible if any of my planes went wrong, i am hopping for the
best so i do not have any concerns before my classes start, i have to visit they tomorrow
first i need to go to the bank and my boss has schedule the meeting in the afternoon,
depending of what she says i would decided tomorrow is the best day to talk to her about
the transfer
