Generally nouns (nouns) have "s" added to them to transform them into plural, for example:
Book -Books
Paper -Papers
Apple - Apples
Key -Keys
However, sometimes there are different rules.
When nouns end with the letter "y" and it is preceded by a consonant, the letter "y" is replaced by "ies". For example:
When nouns culminate with the letters "ch", "x", "s", "sh", "o", "es" is added; for example:
When words end with the letters "f", "fe", "lf", these are replaced by "ves"; for example:
There are nouns in which their plural is totally different from the previous forms(Irregular plural nouns), for example:
Man - Men
Mouse - Mice
Louse - Lice
Bison - Bison
Woman - Women
Policeman - Policemen
Child - Children
Person - People
Fish - Fish
Tooth - Teeth
Goose - Geese
Sheep - Sheep
Moose - Moose
Foot - Feet
Ox - Oxen
Deer - Deer
Offspring - Offspring

i ALWAYS FORGET THE MAN VS MEN.
These are nouns that make their plural form in an irregular way. That means that you don’t use the letter “S” to form the plural, but instead it’s actually a different word or a different spelling.
Man - Men
Woman - Women
Life - Lives
Child - Children
Tooth - Teeth
Foot - Feet
Sheep - Sheep
Mouse - Mice
Goose - Geese
Ox - Oxen
Fish - Fish
Deer - Deer
Cactus - Cacti
They are some plural words that are irregular, so, they dont have a “S” at the final of the verb, like the most. In some cases, just adds another letter besides a “S”. Like:
Hero -> Heroes
In other cases, the letters changes completly, and sound diferrent, like:
Foot -> Feet
Tooth -> Teeth
Mouse -> Mice
Fish is an special case, or i would say, these words that describes a determined number of animals of the same kind, the plural word doesnt change. Example:
1 fish -> 10 fish. ( If they are the same Species)
If they are different, you could say:
“I have ten differente types of fishes on my Aquarium.”

¿De qué forma normalmente volvemos a los sustantivos (nouns) en plural?

¿Cómo convertimos en plural los sustantivos que terminan en las letras “ch” “x”, “s”, “sh” u “o”?

This class made me laugh so hard because my “internal dictionary” and the actual irregular verbs were completely different. “No le pegué a ni una” how do we say in spanish, lol
Alguien preguntó que estratégia usan para memorizar o recordar.
Aquí les comento mi caso:
Escribir “a puño y letra en papeles” 5 oraciones sobre mi día a día incluyendo esa “esa palabra especial”.
Espero que me corrijan lo que escriba:
Write “using your hand” on sheets five statements about my real live including that “special word”
Espero su feedback sobre esta escritura que se me ocurre puede funcionar 😃
El ejemplo del plural de la palabra Child > Children, es muy llamativo, porque no solo no se le agrega la ‘S’, ni tampoco una sola ‘N’, sino que son 3 letras adicionales: ‘REN’, muy curioso!
*Otro que también me sorprendió es la igualdad de ‘Fish’.
Foot Feet
Hero Heroes
child Children
Fish Fish
Knife Knives
1.- FOOT - FEET
2.- HERO -HEROES.
3.- CHILD - CHILDREN.
4.- FISH -FISH
5.- KNIFE - KNIVES.
