Adjective order and as a complement

There are many adjectives as you know and there is an order. Usually people use between 2 or 3 at one time. It is not necessary to memorize the order completely, but to have a good idea of 3 to 4 categories.

Important! The noun is always last!

Here are some examples:

  • I see a big green tree.
  • He is a tall German man.

Adjectives as subject complement.

  • Sofia is Italian.
  • You are tall!
  • They are nice. :)
  • I am sleepy.
