The team I support is one of the most successful in history, Real Madrid (which operates with a club model, and I consider it way better than the franchise model, as it keeps the spirit of sport), I find very interesting the two models of a franchise that exist in the USA, I guess in part it affects MLS as the associate with FIFA.

You had mentioned how the cases of clubs that dominated a sport extinguished interest in the league or competition, harming everyone. And the franchise, being a closed system, does not allow initiatives or emergence of teams from lower leagues.
They both have their pros and cons. Perhaps to develop a mixed picture, with the financial and competitive benefits offered by franchises and the hope and freedom of open leagues.
