If you are one of those who want to achieve great things, but never end up executing the ideas you have, you are not alone. Many people spend hours, days and even months planning what they want to do instead of taking action, but this is not recommended.
Too much planning can put you behind in what you want to execute. Life is full of opportunities and that "tomorrow I do it" or "it's in the plan" often stays there and we never know what could happen if we had executed it. So how can we stop planning so much and start executing?
How do we start executing?
For starters, when improvising or facing certain circumstances in life, we have to save the presentation. Act as if the presentation has already been developed. This means don't stand still because you think it's too late to start. It is much better to stay in 3 or 7 steps than to have stayed on the couch.
We tend to plan too much, obsessively, and not get to the event. It's also not about resorting to compulsion, no. It's about following through in a healthy way. It's about following through in a healthy way according to what we are looking for. Plan just enough and act in the moment. Prioritize what will really make you improve and give results. We can fall into actions that do not add up and are only distractions, reflect on what you like, motivate and act on their benefit.
What can you do to start executing?
As a task, we propose you to take a class of what you have been thinking about, that you have been postponing, that you feel it is something that you are too old to do, that you feel that your time has already passed for that? Just do it and you will see the results! After that, you will be able to connect the dots. Remember, never stop learning.
The advice to stop planning so much and start executing is to act as soon as possible. It doesn't matter if it's in small steps. Stand up, make a plan just for what you want to achieve, put yourself into action and you will see how little by little you will achieve your goals. Life is short and there are many opportunities, don't let them pass you by!
