Common Time Expressions

Las expresiones de tiempo son palabras o frases que se utilizan para dar un contexto temporal (presente, pasado o futuro) a la oración.

Tiempo presente

Today

• I’m chilling out today.

Now / Right now

• We have to leave right now!

At the moment

• At the moment, we’re relaxing at the beach.

Tiempo pasado

Yesterday / The day before yesterday

• Yesterday, I hung out with some friends.

Last (week, weekend, month, year, Friday, etc)

• Last weekend, we went camping

One, two, three (years, months, weeks, days) ago

• One year ago we went fishing with our parents.

Tiempo futuro

Tonight / Tomorrow / The day after tomorrow

• We’re going to go partying tonight.

Next (week, weekend, month, year, Friday, etc)

• We will probably go snorkeling next mount.

In one, two, three (years, months, weeks, days)

• In two hours, I’m going to go bike riding
