Role play: conversación

Office Manager (Mary): Good afternoon, Sally. Are you ready for the meeting?
Secretary (Sally): Yes, should we go to your office or use the conference room?
Office Manager (Mary): I think the conference room is a better place to have the meeting.
Secretary (Sally): That’s fine by me. It also has a projector in case we need to look at some slides.
Office Manager (Mary): Ok. To begin with, I really want to see that report you were working on. You know, the one on sales results and revenue.
Secretary (Sally): Yes, I know the one. It is right here in my document folder. Let me pull it up.
Office Manager (Mary): Right. Also, have you contacted Amsterdam’s office? I must know when the conference is going to take place to be able to plan ahead for the venue, itinerary and seats.
Secretary (Sally): Sure. I also wanted to report that one of our foreign customers complained about the terms of the price quotation we sent him. He is saying that if we don’t lower the price, he will contact another agency and not work with us.
Office Manager (Mary): He is a rather difficult client. Please write to him that we are willing to give him a 5% discount on the total cost, but tell him we will take a bit longer to finish the project, so the due date has to be postponed.
Secretary (Sally): Do you think he will agree to that?
Office Manager (Mary): We are giving him a fair price, and we have other projects in the pipeline. If he is not willing to work with us, we will have to find another client to work with.
Secretary (Sally): Will that be all, Mary?
Office Manager (Mary): Yes, Sally. Thank you.

I am going to tell you, what I watched in the last video
in the first place, I watched two girls that were talking about the business one of them was talking about a client who wanted to have a discount on the asking price, and he was try to threaten another girl with left the company if she didn’t make a discount, another girl that I think that was a manager because she gave her advice about of the discount that another girl could make also she gave advice how she could deal with a difficult client, she told her that she could give him a five percent of discount and she asked her if the client was going to accept the discount and the manager told her that, that discount was fair if the client didn’t accept the offer there were others clients who were going to accept the offer

My report about what Sally and her boss talked about in their last conversation.
https://voca.ro/1gnLeTRerPlO

  • Mary preferred to make the meeting in the conference room
  • Mary asked Sally to give her the report about sales and revenue
  • A client claimed about the price, he wanted a lower price. Mary said Sally to give him a 5% discount as the the better price they could offer.
They agreed to take the meeting in the conference room. She asked to know when it's going to take place the conference with the people form Amsterdam. They decided to give a discount for their client

The two of them ar talking about a meeting of business that it will be in the conference room, the secretary says that is better in case they have to show some slides, on other hand they are talking about a client that demand a discount and in case they don´t request his petition he will leave the business

Sally asked to the boss where the meeting would be, the boss answered it would be the conference room, the boss asked Sally to see that report she was wornking on, the one with the sales results and revenue, Sally said it was right there in her document folder, so she put it on. The boss then asked Sally if she contacted Amsterdams office to which Sally replied that she also wanted to report that one of their customers complained about the terms of the price quote they sent him, he said that if they did not lower the price he woud contact another company and will not work with them, the boss replied that he was a difficult client, so she asked Sally to write back to him offering a 5% disccount on the total cost but they would take a bit longer to finish the project so the duty had to be possponed. Sally asked her boss if the client would agree to that, the boss replied that it was a fair price and they had other projects in the pay plan and if he was not willing to work with them, they would have to look for another client.
Sally asked if that was all, and Mary said “yes Sally, Thank you”

The woman demanded to see the sales report and asked Sally to contact Amsterdam's office. Sally said that a client wanted a lower price. The woman told the secretary to give him a discount.
The two women discussed various topics throughout their meeting. First, they decided to hold the meeting in the conference room in order to better visualize the slides one of them had prepared. One of them reported that a customer was willing to stop working with them unless they offered lower prices. In response, the other woman said they would agree to a 5% discount, but only with different deadlines.

The manager scheduled a meeting with a sales person of her team. The sales person asked if they could lower the price to a difficult client, because the client threaten to leave if they don't offer a lower price. The manager agreed to make a discount of 5% to close the negotiation, however, she said it was the maximum and if the client did'nt accept, the company have to move foward with the rest of their pipeline.

Matt Cutts suggests that people change their habits by following a 30-day program. He mentioned that in order to reach remarkable goals, individuals should set small daily tasks, such as commuting to work by bike every day. In addition to cycling to work, he spent a month writing a book and cutting out sugar from his diet. He admitted that, even though he achieved his goal, his writing was not destined to become a bestseller. However, on the other hand, he considered giving up candy a significant personal achievement.

The manager told Sally to offer a 5% discount to the difficult client who threatened to leave the agreement with the company.
what I watched the video is a conversation of two girls talking about a difficult customer ,and they agree to give a 5% discount to the customer and that woudl be a price fair
they agreed to meet at the conference room. Sally informed Mary that one of the foreign clients complain about the price and he demanded to have a lower one on the contrary he will look after another agency to work with. Mary agreed to give him a 5% total discount so that they could work together but the project will take more time than expected. ln case the client doesn't accept , the agency will need to look for another client.
1. The office manager preferred to have the meeting in the conference room 2. The office manager demanded to see the report before the meeting 3. The office manager needed to know where the meeting was going to take place 4. The office manager offered to lower the price by 5% from the total amount 5. The secretary reported that the client threatened to refuse the proposal due to the price
* Mary preferred to use the conference room to have the meting * Mary preferred to contact Amsterdam's office, she must know uf the conference is going to take place * Sally explained that one of our foreign customers complained about the terms of the price quotation we sent him. * Mary said she really want to see the report sally wrote. * Mary agreed to give him a discount
**Excersice:** There are two girls, a secretary and her chief, they discussed about where should they do their meeting, finally they agreed to use the conference room because it has a projector and the secretary must show the report about sales and revenue. Then the chief asked the secretary if she had already contacted the Amsterdam office because they must have everything in order for a event. Later both of them complained about a customer who had a problem with the cost of the project, the chief proposed a 5% discount in the final price but if applied, the customer must wait a bit longer for the project. Then the secretary asked her chief if she was sure that the customer would agree the final price under those conditions, and the chief told her she wasn't sure at all but the customer could look up for other company that has the requirements he needs.
There is a meeting between the manager and secretary, where sally suggested to the manager using the office or meeting room to hold on the conversation, and manager decides to have the meet into the meeting room. The manager asked to sally the resource and revenue report of sales, where sally confirmed her to have it into the folder of her phone, also manager asked to Sally the place of the conference and sally informed her that a customer is refuse to take the trip due to its price, where the manager decided to lower price around 5% percent of the total cost but manager informed to sally that it can delay the duty to finish the project and sally advice her about the possibility of receiving another reject for the clients, but manager said to her that in case it would happen, they need to search another customer to threat with.
The manager asked the secretary to choose a location for their meeting, then the manager demanded to see the report with the sales and revenues in the meeting, but before doing the meeting they talked about some of the projects they had, the manager needed to have the information of the venue itinerary and seats, so the secretary agreed to bring her that information later. After that they complained about a client who threatened them to work with another agency if they didn't give him a discount.
At the begining, after saluting each other, they agreeded to have the meeting in the conference room. The girl that seems to be the boss said shed wanted to see the report before presenting it, and also questioned the other girl if she had contacted the Amsterdam office to see the availability, the girl in charge of the report, mentioned there was a custumer that refused to continue with them if he doesn't see a lower price, preferring the competitors if the would be the case, so her boss asked her to contact him to offer a 5% of discount to get the customer back, nevertheless his project would take longer than expected and the release date must have been postponed. The assistant wondered if the client would accept that, but her boss tell her that they're giving to him a fare price and is willing to get another client if he refuses to take the deal.
Here is my short report. <https://voca.ro/122saT12Kmib>
She said to lower the costs by 5% for the client in the total cost. She said to have a rather difficult client. he said to contact the boss to comment on the situation.
<https://voca.ro/18DgNoTltVf6> Mary and Sally agreed to have the meeting in the conference room, but Mary wanted to see the report that Sally was working on first. Also, Mary wanted to know if Sally contacted Amsterdam's office so she could plan the conference. Sally immediately reported to Mary that a foreign customer was complaining about the price quotation they sent him, saying that if they do not lower the price he would contact and work with another agency. Mary decided to give him a 5% discount on the total cost, but the project will take longer and the due date has to be postponed.
Mary preffered to make the meeting in the conference room. A costumer asked Sally to give him a lower price. Mary accepted Sally to give a costumer a 5% discount of the total cost. Mary said Sally to search another costumer if the actual doesn't want the final price.
I think that it would be difficult to work in that enterprise. For example, they are talking about a client who wants a bigger discount and threatens to decline the contract if he doesn’t get it. For God! The worst part is that they don’t have another option, because if they lose this client, they have to find another one.
Mary asked Sally to show the sales results and revenue report for a next conference and to offer a 5% discount of total cost to a difficult client.
The secretary offered to take the meeting in the office or in the conference room. tha manager agreed to take the meeting in confererence room. Also secretary offered to have a projector in case manager want to see some slides. Manager demanded to have a report including sales report and revenue. Also manager demanded secretary to contact Amsterdam office to know details about the conference. Secretary said that one customer threatened to go other agency if he do not receive a discount in price. Manager promised to give 5% of total price if customer can accept a delay in service.
The office manager approved giving the client a 5% discount, but said that if the client does not want to agree to postpone the due date, he will have to find another client to work with.
First of all, They agreed to have the conference in the meeting room. She hopes to see th result in t revenue. Also, she demanded to know when the conference is going to take place to be able to plan it. They talkedabout the foreign custumer's decision to not continue if he doesn't get a discount. She offered to reduce the total price by 5% but it will delay the due date.
The meeting had placed at the conference room. The manager asked Sally for the report of sales results and revenue. The client threatened the company to terminated the contract if they don't lower the price. Manager agreed to offer him a 5% discount in the total cost.
Mary asked Sally if she was ready for the meeting. Sally responded **that** she was. Sally also asked Mary if she preferred to stay there or move to her office. Mary suggested going to the conference room, and they both agreed. Sally added that the conference room had a projector in case they needed it. Mary then asked Sally to show her the report she had been working on, specifically the one on sales results and revenue. Sally replied that she had the report in her folder. Mary also inquired if Sally had contacted the Amsterdam office, as she wanted to know the exact itinerary for the upcoming conference.
- Person A decided to lower the price for the foreign customer - Persona A askedd Sally to bring her sales reports - Sally asked to the Person A what happened if the client do not decided to accept the treat
She offered to lower the price by 5%.
Reporting: 1\. They talked about where there would be the meeting. 2\. They talked about offering a cheaper price to the client. 3\. They thought about finding new clients.

Mary thought that the conference room was a better place to have the meeting.
Sally agreed and mentioned that it also had a projector in case they needed to look at some slides.
Mary wanted to see the report that Sally was working on, the one on sales results and revenue.
Sally knew which report Mary was referring to and said it was in her document folder.
Mary also asked if Sally had contacted Amsterdam’s office because she needed to know when the conference was going to take place.
Sally reported that one of their foreign customers complained about the terms of the price quotation and threatened to contact another agency if they didn’t lower the price.
Mary considered him a difficult client and instructed Sally to write to him offering a 5% discount but with a postponed due date.
Sally asked if Mary thought he would agree to that.
Mary believed they were giving him a fair price and if he wasn’t willing to work with them, they would have to find another client.
Sally asked if that was all.
Mary confirmed that it was all and thanked Sally.
Is there anything else you would like me to add or change?
