Uso de "before" y "after" como conjunciones en inglés

Una conjunción es una palabra usada para unir ideas. Before y after son conjunciones que se utilizan para ordenar eventos.

Before

Before se refiere al evento que ocurre antes que otro. Si before se utiliza al principio de la oración, los eventos se separan por comas.

Primer evento: She washed the dishes.
Segundo evento: We got home.

• She washed the dishes before we got home.
• Before we got home, she washed the dishes.

Observa que before siempre va en conjunto con el segundo evento.

After

After se refiere al evento que ocurre después que otro. Si after se utiliza al principio de la oración, los eventos se separan por comas.

Primer evento: She washed the dishes.
Segundo evento: We got home.

• We got home after she washed the dishes.
• After she washed the dishes, we got home.

Observa que after siempre va en conjunto con el primer evento.
