Epic crossover

Get + past participle form
Talking about changes

The little John’s voice remembered me something like that:

  1. I got promoted at work, I’m the new head of finance.
  2. I got excited as well.
  3. I got hit by another car on my way to the office this morning.

I get learned everything about you.

I got excited with the little Jhon!

SUMMARY:
How to use GET when we want to talk about changes sometimes that are unexpected or sometimes for transitions from one state to the other.

  • GET + PAST PARTICIPLE FORM.
With this structure, we can talk pretty much about any changes or any changes in states or those transitions from one state to the other.
    For examples:
Mary got promoted last week (that was a change of the state).
My car got damaged in the accident.
I got hit in my face

  • Don’t only need to talk in the past. You can also do it in the present (but always with the action in the past participle form).
    For instance:
Let’s go home. I’m getting tired (you are talking about transition).

Funny roleplay!

Get + past participle form (express change) * Mary got promoted last week. * My car got damage in the accident. * I got hit in my face. * Let's go home, I'm getting tired!
