In my county 鈥淕uatemala鈥 the traditional dance is Marimba鈥檚 Son.

The most typical dances of my country Argentina are:
Tango, milonga and vals milonguero: These are originally from city of Buenos Aires. These are danced hugging as a couple.
Chamame: This dance borned in the province of Corrientes. This is danced hugging as a couple.
Zamba: Its origin was in the northern and cuyana region. It is danced separately as a couple and with a handkerchief in hand.
Chacarera: This dance is originally from the province of Santiago del Estero. It is danced separately as a couple and follows a choreography.
Malambo: It borned in the pampeana region. It is danced alone with wooden heel boots and boleadoras.
Carnavalito, huayno and taquirari: these dances are originated in the Puna region. These are group dances. These are danced following choreography.
There are also other popular dances but not as well known as: the candombe, the peric贸n nacional, the gato, the escondido, the cueca, between others.

One of the most traditional dances in colombia specially in cartagena is el mapale. Its names comes from a fish call taleosteo cathorops mapale when this fish is outside the water has a strong movement in the same way people who dance this traditional rhythm they got it. if you are going to dance this rhythm i recomend you get good cardio.

I live in Nuevo Leon, Mexico, and I was a folklore dancer before to be a mother, I learn a lot about the Mexican culture.
In Nuevo Leon we have 4 types of musical rhythms: polka, redova, shotis and huapango. The principal instrument use here is the accordion.

Next we visited Scotland here its traditional dance is Ceilidh.

We have talked about Mexican dance but there are many types of dance in my country.
Mexico has thirty-two states and each one has its own type of dance. Being from the state of Sinaloa, I grew up listening to 鈥淟a m煤sica de Banda鈥, which has a very danceable and upbeat rhythm. it鈥檚 funny to see it

I鈥檓 from Bolivia, my country has many traditional dance styles, but the most famous and important dances are: 鈥淟a Morenada鈥 and 鈥淐aporales鈥, these two dances can be appreciated in all his glory in 鈥淭he Carnival of Oruro鈥, 鈥淭he Carnival of Oruro鈥 is one of the most important festivities of my country.

It is associated with punk rock, and in my opinion, punk is a special type of music with inspiring ideology. I would like to tell you fellow students that there are several subgenres of punk rock. For instance exits something called punk pop and maybe you will find it interesting. I like to encourage you try to dance pogo, and of course, try to listen punk music too!
