How to dominate our life with negotiation?

Negotiation is not just for great entrepreneurs or world leaders; it is an essential tool that influences every aspect of our lives. From our professional careers to our personal relationships and the purchase of goods and services, knowing how to negotiate brings us closer to our goals and protects us from disadvantages. This skill is essential for overcoming challenges and opening up new opportunities.

Why is anything possible?

One of the most powerful lessons to keep in mind is that if someone else has achieved a goal, you can do it too. This principle, instilled by my father at age 12, has guided me throughout my career. Many times, fear of failure prevents us from asking for a raise, charging appropriately for our services, or valuing ourselves correctly. However, everything is achievable if someone else has achieved it, so we can convince ourselves that there are no impossibilities.

How does negotiation influence every aspect of our lives?

Negotiation infiltrates every corner of our lives, regardless of our profession. It is not limited to the business world; we find it in our personal relationships, habits and finances. The key is to know how to negotiate so that we don't fall behind and reach our goals more quickly. If we don't master this skill, people who do may be significantly ahead of us.

Is being a catalyst for change crucial?

In an ever-changing world, adapting to change is more necessary than ever. Being a catalyst for change not only allows us to stay ahead of the curve, but also motivates us to innovate. In my experience in the music industry, I have seen how adaptation and innovation can transform challenges into opportunities. Being proactive and receptive to change keeps us one step ahead.

How do you create the need to break new ground?

Sometimes, to fulfill our desires, we must create the need. In my career, connecting with key people and demonstrating the value of my proposals allowed me to travel and participate in international events when I was a press manager. We must not wait for someone to knock on our door; we must be proactive and look for ways to turn desires into tangible needs, so that opportunities come to us.

Why does loving what we do make a difference?

Loving what we do is not a cliché, it is a fundamental pillar for success. Passion is the engine that drives us to do our best and to be authentic in what we offer. By finding the aspect that truly fulfills us, even in seemingly unattractive tasks, we can transform our perception and performance. This love not only benefits us, but also convinces others that what we offer is valuable and genuine.

Why is it vital to make friends and not just contacts?

The work and personal world is enriched when we build authentic relationships, rather than merely accumulating contacts. Friends will be willing to reach out to us far more than any phone number or email. Creating real connections not only facilitates collaboration, but also adds immeasurable value to our professional and personal lives.

By adopting these tips and strategies, we can master negotiation and our life in general. Perseverance, adaptability, and authenticity are the key to opening doors and achieving our goals.
