My recording

You can listen to my recording, playing it here.

Ravee: Hey Jess, ready to plan our trip to New York?
Jess: More than ready! I am so psyched 馃嚭馃嚫 we are going on vacation 馃嚭馃嚫 together.
Ravee: Me too. I鈥檓 well-chuffed 馃嚞馃嚙 about going on holiday 馃嚞馃嚙 with you mate 馃嚞馃嚙.
Jess: I wanted to let you know that my friend 馃嚭馃嚫 won鈥檛 be able to rent us his apartment 馃嚭馃嚫.
Ravee: No problem! I was actually going to tell you that I prefer staying at a hotel. It鈥檚 easier than renting a flat 馃嚞馃嚙.
Jess: Oh, great! Well, I think we should stay somewhere close to Times Square. Let鈥檚 look for a hotel that has an elevator 馃嚭馃嚫 so we don鈥檛 have to carry the baggage 馃嚭馃嚫.
Ravee: Noted. The hotel needs to have a lift 馃嚞馃嚙 鈥榗ause of the luggage 馃嚞馃嚙. Hey and what about having a telly 馃嚞馃嚙 in the room?
Jess: Well, I don鈥檛 think we鈥檒l have time to watch TV 馃嚭馃嚫. I already promised some friends we would meet them for a drink 馃嚭馃嚫 at a bar 馃嚭馃嚫 called Sunny鈥檚. Then, we said we were going to visit the MET in the morning and go watch a Broadway show.
Ravee: Hey, you know me. I鈥檓 always down for a pint 馃嚞馃嚙 at the pub 馃嚞馃嚙!
Jess: By the way, don鈥檛 forget to pack a sweater 馃嚭馃嚫. The fall 馃嚭馃嚫 season is chilly.
Ravee: I heard autumn 馃嚞馃嚙 is a beautiful time to visit New York! But sure mate, I鈥檒l pack a jumper 馃嚞馃嚙 if you promise to wear trousers 馃嚞馃嚙 instead of shorts!
Jess: Ok, fine. I鈥檒l wear pants 馃嚭馃嚫 then鈥

a pint at the pub:
The pub is basically a bar. It鈥檚 the place where you buy drinks and people get drunk. A cup is the normal size of things. A pint is two times a cup. This means to get a large drink at the bar and make yourself drunk.
