My English learning has been kind of weird. I started to learn since I was a kid through games, games that were completely in English, so I had to learn some words and terms in order to play well. Also through the music, videos, series and movies. Using my phone and PC in English. Eventually when I realized that I got some practice I started to try to speak, I logged in a page free4talk .com, where I could leave the fear and start speaking with different people all around the world. The disadvantage is that I didn鈥檛 learn about grammar and orthography.

The most interesting experience has been to speak with people all around the globe (India, Nepal, UK, LATAM, USA, Algeria, Philippines, Hungary, Egypt, Lebanon, and so on). Not only to practice English but also learn about cultures, people and regions. That has been awesome for me!

I have been studying English since I was a teenager. I started my path by watching movies and singing songs. I decided to change the language of my phone and pc to English, also the content that I consumed. I actually don鈥檛 listen, read or watch anything in my native language (Spanish).
I have an interesting and important experience. In 2019 I quit my job, so I was in a very uncertain position. A job offer was open for my city and the only requirement was a B2 level of English, for that time I had at least a year working in my previous position so I haven鈥檛 faced any interviews in a while, and fewer in English, but I was in a rush so I jumped in. I tried to prepare myself the best I could, it was very challenging. In the middle of the interview they notified me that I have to speak with the account manager from the US, a native speaker, just imagine my face鈥 I was pale like a vampire but I found the strength inside of me and I did it. Don鈥檛 ask me how, but I got the job. Currently, I work as a Logistic Coordinator and I鈥檓 a student at this academy in order to improve my grammar and get a certification.

  • Verb form: past participle

I have studied english for my entire life, basically since I was a little girl Ihave been in contact with the language, to be honest I麓ve always liked to learn other languagesm I don麓t know why it麓s so fun and interesting to me, but don麓t get confused, its not an easy job, actually it麓s pretty hard to learn new things. One of the most interesting experiences of my life using english was in the moment I麓d the chance to talk to other people who used english but they weren麓t native speakers, so the accent they talked was quite challenging to understand.

I have started learning English since I was a child. I still remember I started taking English classes even when I didn鈥檛 know how to write and read. After that, I practiced for 4 years, however when I was 8 years old , I left my English classes. However, I have always kept English present in my life, either at school or in my daily life with some words here and there. Furthermore, I started taking English classes again because during the pandemic I started my own business where I had to teach English to children. Faced with the necessity of improving my vocabulary and knowledge, I started intensive online English classes for a year. At the beginning of the program, I dedicated even 5 hours a day to studying the language. Now, two years after that success, I have tried constantly to practice, but the discipline and other activities don鈥檛 let me continue improving my English skills.

I have been in contact with english language since I was little, at the school or independent courses. I have learned eglish in several forms, by myself, in gruops like classes, with a particular teacher. Even of that I believe that althoug I am capable of express my self in english by writing and speaking, I'm still have a intermediate level of english. I think that is because I have to be more constant, specially with speaking and listening. And sometimes I notice that I could be too confident with grammar, but I have so much to learn too.

I have been studying English since I was fourteen years old, but I always stopped studying for a few months, and then I started again (I repeated this several times), and obviously it didn't work because I forgot almost everything. When I was in my last years at university I wanted to take a program at BMW, but I needed to have an advanced level in English, unfortunately I didn't have it, and it was at that moment when I decided to study seriously, since then I've learned several things through Youtube videos in English also I've watched some movies with subtitles, and recently I've subscribed to platzi, and I think it works.

I have studied English almost all my life. But during my school years, I was a lazy kid. Then, my parents bought an excellent course where I practiced a little bit more. When I studied in my career, the area with the lowest grades was English. Furthermore, when I became a teacher at a university, I changed my mentality and studied English with more discipline. Since that moment, I have slightly improved my English level. One day, in the past year, I found new clients in the United States, and it became more necessary to practice. This is the reason I am studying at this moment. I have practiced more frequently for minutes, and I have had conversations with people from other countries who have never spoken Spanish in their lives.

I麓ve been studying English since i was a child. My school had been placing a strong emphasis on languages. later, in university i decided to be a musician and much of the time i dedicated to learning music was in English. Many musicians that i麓ve collaborated with hail from USA and Europe, so, have been essential to express myself proficiently in English to participate effectively. One particularly interesting experience involving the language occurred when i was attended my first Master Class of music and a renowned Jazz teacher from Kentucky was leading the class that day. However, the interpreter never show up and the audience was consisted of Spanish speaker from LATAM. Given the circumstances, i didn麓t hesitate to take advantage of this unique opportunity. :)

I've always payed attention to the words in other languages, the most in English by watching TV shows like The Simpsons, The Looney Tunes, etc. Since I was in secundary, I've been the best student in English classes, my classmates always looked for me to help them with a homwork or even somthing they had'nt understood. Since then, I've been speaking English without taken new English classes. I've studied English by myself but here in Platzi I think I have an oportunity to improve my vocabulary, listening, writing and why not, gramatics.
