My English learning has been kind of weird. I started to learn since I was a kid through games, games that were completely in English, so I had to learn some words and terms in order to play well. Also through the music, videos, series and movies. Using my phone and PC in English. Eventually when I realized that I got some practice I started to try to speak, I logged in a page free4talk .com, where I could leave the fear and start speaking with different people all around the world. The disadvantage is that I didn’t learn about grammar and orthography.

The most interesting experience has been to speak with people all around the globe (India, Nepal, UK, LATAM, USA, Algeria, Philippines, Hungary, Egypt, Lebanon, and so on). Not only to practice English but also learn about cultures, people and regions. That has been awesome for me!

I have been studying English since I was a teenager. I started my path by watching movies and singing songs. I decided to change the language of my phone and pc to English, also the content that I consumed. I actually don’t listen, read or watch anything in my native language (Spanish).
I have an interesting and important experience. In 2019 I quit my job, so I was in a very uncertain position. A job offer was open for my city and the only requirement was a B2 level of English, for that time I had at least a year working in my previous position so I haven’t faced any interviews in a while, and fewer in English, but I was in a rush so I jumped in. I tried to prepare myself the best I could, it was very challenging. In the middle of the interview they notified me that I have to speak with the account manager from the US, a native speaker, just imagine my face… I was pale like a vampire but I found the strength inside of me and I did it. Don’t ask me how, but I got the job. Currently, I work as a Logistic Coordinator and I’m a student at this academy in order to improve my grammar and get a certification.

I have to say that all these courses have helped me a lot, and I'm so happy about it. I think this time I'll reach my goals with this language.

English is the global language, and when you have been able to speak is possible to know new cultures, new friends, and a new world.

My story with English begins when I can’t finish Zelda: A Link to the Past on Super Nintendo. In 1999, games used to not come translated. I bought a dictionary to try to understand some terms of the game, but I couldn't achieve it at that time. I've been trying to learn English since I was a kid. But I always have periods of back and forth to learning. I think that I have imposter syndrome around learning English, that is why this year 2024 I decided to break this pattern. If you want to know if I could finish Zelda's game. The answer is I did it. Currently, I play games, read books, and watch TV in English, that is the way that I have been learning and improving over time. Thanks to the Platzi English leveling tool. I finally got to know that my actual level is B1, this breaks my imposter syndrome. From here I can continue my road to English success.

I've studied English for 3 years. I'm on a trip to learn the language. The learning process is challenging since I need to practice and improve my listening and writing skills. I've had interesting experiences like reading articles, learning about other cultures, and acquiring knowledge.
I've learned english since I was little because I've always liked music in english so it was natural for me to learn the basics. It's been 10 years since that and now I've been studying by myself in a serious way to improve my english and achieve the max level. I haven't interacted with many people in my path of studying but I've learned a lot of things about general culture or facts that I didn't know before. It's exciting to learn new things while I'm studying english at the same time.
I have studied english for my entire life, basically since I was a little girl Ihave been in contact with the language, to be honest I´ve always liked to learn other languagesm I don´t know why it´s so fun and interesting to me, but don´t get confused, its not an easy job, actually it´s pretty hard to learn new things. One of the most interesting experiences of my life using english was in the moment I´d the chance to talk to other people who used english but they weren´t native speakers, so the accent they talked was quite challenging to understand.

I have started learning English since I was a child. I still remember I started taking English classes even when I didn’t know how to write and read. After that, I practiced for 4 years, however when I was 8 years old , I left my English classes. However, I have always kept English present in my life, either at school or in my daily life with some words here and there. Furthermore, I started taking English classes again because during the pandemic I started my own business where I had to teach English to children. Faced with the necessity of improving my vocabulary and knowledge, I started intensive online English classes for a year. At the beginning of the program, I dedicated even 5 hours a day to studying the language. Now, two years after that success, I have tried constantly to practice, but the discipline and other activities don’t let me continue improving my English skills.

I have been in contact with english language since I was little, at the school or independent courses. I have learned eglish in several forms, by myself, in gruops like classes, with a particular teacher. Even of that I believe that althoug I am capable of express my self in english by writing and speaking, I'm still have a intermediate level of english. I think that is because I have to be more constant, specially with speaking and listening. And sometimes I notice that I could be too confident with grammar, but I have so much to learn too.
I´ve been studying English in platzi since march 7th of this year, but before I started at platzi I used to watch series in English so as to improve my listening, but I realize about the importance of a good tutor o guidance. I have been studying English since I was fourteen years old, but I always stopped studying for a few months, and then I started again (I repeated this several times), and obviously it didn't work because I forgot almost everything. When I was in my last years at university I wanted to take a program at BMW, but I needed to have an advanced level in English, unfortunately I didn't have it, and it was at that moment when I decided to study seriously, since then I've learned several things through Youtube videos in English also I've watched some movies with subtitles, and recently I've subscribed to platzi, and I think it works.

Hi guys! Well, like everybody I have began since the school, but in that time we didn´t have today´s tools like internet, movile apps, AI and GPT´s, we practiced with the movies and the songs mostly, then at the University was more relevant and you had to learn in specialized academys, all in presencial mode, now you can take class remotely with a native teacher from India, UK or whatever place, i think that in a near future we will walk with our personal AI, it will be like a inmersive learning.
