I use contact lenses because i prefer them rather than glasses, I feel more comfortable. In the future I would like to have an eye surgery so i won´t need to use any type of glasses anymore

Right now I don’t need eye exams because I have a very well vision. But maybe in the future, I will.
When I was a boy I received a stone in the left eye. At that moment I fell unconscious and I woke up later in the hospital together with my parents.
The amazing thing is that after a weekly treatment of almost six months , my eye was left as if nothing had happened. How something that seems so fragile has so much resilience.
Afterwards, I started wearing glasses when I was an adult. A minimum graduation of 0.25 to see at medium distance. Something normal.
Yes, I needed an eye exam. The ophthalmologist recommended that I should wear glasses to view any screens. Since then, I’ve been wearing glasses every time I have to be in front of a screen (Which is almost all day LOL).

I use glasses since 2016 cause I could not see clearly without them, I made an eye exam in 2009 but at that moment I felt ashamed to use them, I will not use them until my adulthood

I have used glasses since I was 9 years old, my diagnosis was myopia, so I use glasses to see at a distance. Every year, I go to the ophthalmologist for my annual eye exam. Recently, the doctor diagnosed me with farsightedness, and I use another type of glasses to read better.

* It is not me, however, my mother wears glasses. I will talk about her. My mother has a surgery this next year because she has something in her eyes that does not let her to see well. It is a delicate surgery and I must be there with her. She always uses eye drops because she feels her eyes a little bit dry.
I think that i'm going to need to wear glasses because some time it's difficult for me to see from the distance so i have to go to the ophthalmologist to get and eye exam. in my case if the doctor detect something wrong in my eyes i would not have problem with a surgery because i wouldn't like to wear glasses or contact lenses.

I have never had to get none of those elements but a friend of mine used to wear these big glasses cause she had several vision problems now she also has her contact lenses but she still wears the glasses
I am wearing my glasses now, I have a prescription but just for protection because my vision is 20 -20. But due to the fact I pass more than 8 hours in front of screen I decide to used them.
I don't like contac lenses, I've heard some cases when these get lose inside your eye, that idea terrified me, so I love my glasses. I don't need surgery but in case of need it too I would be really coward too

I used to had many eye exams, once a year since I was a child. When I with the ophthalmologist realize that my vision was getting worse and the glasses didn’t fix the problem, we decided to prove with a surgery. It was a successful and now I just need glasses to protect my eyes of the screen.

I’ve had some eye exams, but never had to wear glasses. On the other side, both, mom and dad use glasses because of their bad vision about long distances. I really hope don’t loss my god vision when I got an adult like them.
yeah, it was 2020 and i went to the dotor i don´t why, but he told me that i needed to see a opthamologist. i went to see him and he told me that i needed to use glasses because i have an eyes problem. since then, i wear glasses and it can be an unconfortable some times, i can see much better, but i don´t liket them 😄
