There are **two structures** to express the first conditional:
* **<u>If</u>** + present simple**,** + **subject** + future simple (**<u>will</u>**) ← It is importan to separate the first conditional from the possible outcome with a coma (**,**)
* **Subject** + future simple (**<u>will</u>**) + **<u>If</u>** + present simple
📌 The future simple can also be in its negative form (won't/will not).
**Examples**:
* **<u>If</u>** I get sick**,** I **<u>will</u>** go to the hospital. → I **<u>will</u>** go to the hospital **<u>If</u>** I get sick.
* **<u>If</u>** I study**,** I **<u>will</u>** pass the test. → I **<u>will</u>** pass the test **<u>if</u>** I study.
* **<u>If</u>** it’s rainy**,** I **<u>won’t</u>** go out. → I **<u>won’t</u>** go out **<u>if</u>** it’s rainy.
