#### **What are they?**
* These questions focus on identifying the general topic or purpose of a lecture or conversation.
#### **What do they look like?**

* "What do the speakers mainly discuss?"

#### **What do you have to do?**

#### **Tips for answering main idea questions**

### **Factual and inference questions**
#### **What are they?**
* **Factual questions**: Ask for specific details explicitly stated in the lecture.
* **Inference questions**: Require you to deduce information that is implied or suggested.
#### **Examples**
