It would be great to have a similar course for phrasal verbs
I like so much this format of course. Two teachers speaking is a rich experiencie. I think this method bring us closer to our objetives. Cheers to both.
Excellent course! I loved different accents and the learning about prepositional phrases.
I love the way this course ends; it feels very casual and natural, like a close conversation with the students. Thanks for creating this much-needed course!
**SUMMARY OF COURSE** #### **1. Time prepositions** * **In time vs. on time** * **In time:** Refers to doing something before it’s too late. * **On time:** Refers to doing something at the scheduled or agreed-upon time. #### **2. Movement and direction prepositions** * **Out of, into, around, past** * **Out of:** Exiting a closed space. * **Into:** Entering a closed space. * **Around:** Moving in a circular direction or avoiding an obstacle. * **Past:** Moving by or beyond something. * **Across vs. through** * **Across:** Moving from one side to the other of a flat, bounded area. * **Through:** Moving from one side to the other of an enclosed area. * **Go up, go down, away from, towards** * **Go up:** Moving from a lower position to a higher one. * **Go down:** Moving from a higher position to a lower one. * **Away from:** Moving farther from something. * **Towards:** Moving closer to something. #### **3. Location prepositions** * **At:** Indicates a specific point or location. * **Behind, in front of, next to** * **Behind:** At the back of something. * **In front of:** Facing something. * **Next to:** Beside or adjacent to something. * **Below, near, between** * **Below:** At a lower level than something. * **Near:** Close to something. * **Between:** In the middle of two objects. #### **4. Prepositional phrases** * **With sentences:** Prepositional phrases that control or modify entire sentences. * **With verbs:** Prepositional phrases that control or modify verbs. #### **5. Usage of “in”** * **In:** Used for enclosed spaces, periods of time, or to indicate position within an area. #### **6. Usage of “on”** * **On:** Used for surfaces, days, and specific dates. #### **7. Usage of “on”, “in”, and “above”** * **On:** Refers to something resting on a surface. * **In:** Indicates being inside a space. * **Above:** Refers to a higher position but not touching.
I think it was a great experience, sometimes it was challenging to me understanding what you were explaining us, despite that, it helps me to push me and being better, so I prefer this type of courses. I really find it so funny the conversations you maintained during the different modules, it was entertaining and add more engagement to the students. I really appreciate it if you guys create more courses like this one. I love to learn how to use phrasal verbs in a next opportunity with both of you!
