I’m from Caracas, Vzla. We have a lot of traditional foods! Some of my favourites are:
Pabellon: it’s made with shredded meat, black beans, fry platain, rice and as personal option, you can add avocado.
Cachapa: it’s a mix of corn, milk, eggs, a bit of sugar, some butter, salt to your liking and cormeal. Once is ready, you can fill the cachapa with telita or guayanes cheese (it’s a traditional venezuelan cheese; its texture is soft and juicy), a little bit of butter. You can also fill it with shredded meat/pork/chicken or jam. It’s really delicious.
-** Arepa**: the queen. It’s made with white corn flour and you can fill it with almost any ingredient, for example:
There are many delicious traditional foods in Venezuela but these are my top 4.
In Bogotá we also have the changua, loved by some and hated by others.
It’s a soup with meat, potatoes, scallions, maybe some garlic, and for sure milk. Some people thinks milk shouldn’t be in a salty soup, but it’s delicious.
In Argentina,one of the best food you can try is :dulce de leche, its declicious
In Colombia we have the Sancocho, its a soup with hen! It’s taste is delicious and unique. I love it.

In Ecuador there is a Delicious dish called FRITADA, it’s made with pork and is served with potato tortilla, toasted corn, mote (same as posole) and fried ripe banana.
If in Mexico we have a wide variety of traditional foods depending also on where you are living, and there are so many dishes that you do not even know which is the best, but one of the ones I like is the red pozole with pozolero corn, pig, chicken, lettuce, radishes, lemon, and its toast with cream.
I’m from Mexico and something that you going to find everywhere you go are taquitos, those could be for many types of meet, stwes or if you prefer you can find vegetarian taquitos with instead using corn tortillas they used lettuce.

As every people said in the comments, in Mexico, we have a lot of traditional and delicious dishes, I have a favorite dish which is Pozole, which is made with pork, and some chilis (yeah, I know Mexican people add chili to everything, but hey, it’s amazing), and spices, and you can add lettuce, radish, onion, and you always needs to add Mexican oregano, it is the jewel crown
Other of the Colombian traditional dishes is the rice with milk, tamales and wrapped of corn.

In Chile, we have many ticipal foods. My favorite its Pastel de Choclo, in may 2023 its was elected “The best budin in the world” by Taste Atlas.

I am from Venezuela, and two of our most famous traditional foods are the hallaca and the pabellón. The hallaca is made with corn flour, achiote, and seasonings. It is stuffed with meat, chicken, olives, raisins, capers, potatoes, and carrots. This is wrapped in banana leaves – at least, that’s my family’s recipe. And the pabellón is rice, shredded meat, black beans, fried egg, sliced banana, and cheese.
Now I live in Colombia, and I really love bandeja paisa, ajiaco, pastelitos de yuca, and arepas boyacenses.
The Milhojas is also my favorite dessert, Cause in Colombia thera are othoer varieties of desserts, such as: rice pudding , coconout panelitas, delicacy of milk.
Guatemala has the tradition of tamales colorados made with cornmeal and water, which is boiled and filled with chicken or pork and a tomato and chile recado (sauce). Then they are covered in a banana leaf and cooked again, but this time steamed.
It is consumed at parties, Christmas, New Year, birthdays and weddings.
In El Salvador the pupusas are realy delicius, we prapere with difrents ingredients, but if you taste it never forgive it, belive me
In Perú, there are a lot of typical food. I suggest you should eat by areas. For example, on the coast you should eat cebiche and also carapulcra. In the sierra you should eat pork marinades and pachamanca. in the jungle you should eat paiche and tacacho or smoked cecina

It’s made with lemon pickled shrimp (seasoned with salt and pepper), onion and cucumber, but if you like spicy food you can put some jalapeño chili sauce on it, is common eat aguachile with tostadas and a little bit mayo on each tostada.

Here in Colombia, we have various types of traditional food.
One of the most famous traditional dishes is Bandeja Paisa, which consists of beans, rice, patacones (fried plantains), and pork rind. It’s a hearty and flavorful meal.
Another popular traditional dessert in Colombia is arroz con leche, a comforting rice pudding made with rice, milk, sugar, and cinnamon.
Here in Ecuador, we have delicious foods, we love cooking with “platano Verde”. There are different meals with platano like “bolón de queso”, “bolón de chicharrón”, “tigrillo”, “bollos de pescado”, but now I´m going to talking about " encebollado de pescado".
This plate is pepared with a fish called “albacora” , also has yucca, onion, cilantro; this is like a soup, but is not a soup. We always serve this plate with “chifles” is a way to prepare the platano verde.
Here there are some people preffer to eat encebollado with bread, so I love eating encebollado sunday morning here is very typical.

I love “tamal”, and a plate very popular called Mute santandereano.

In Perú, we have many delicious foods. Ceviche, chaufa, aji de gallina, causa, etc. But this time I will talk about lomo saltado, it’s one of my favorites. This dish has fries, rice with stir-fried beef, onion, and tomato. It’s really delicious.
Also, a dessert I would like to tell you about is ‘picarones.’ These are dough rings accompanied by chancaca syrup. I assure you that you will love them if you try them.

In Mexico we have the corn cake as a traditional desert made with white and yellow corn, to add taste sometimes has condensed milk, when the weather is hot it served with ice cream, the contrast betwen the hot of the cake and the cold of the ice cream is very Interisting.
