Temporary vs Permanent Situations


Temporary Situation
Las situaciones temporales son aquellas que ocurren solo por un período limitado de tiempo. Para hablar sobre ellas, utilizamos el presente continuo (present continuous) o el pasado continuo (past continuous). Estos tiempos verbales indican una acción en progreso o un estado en un momento específico del pasado o presente.

  • Temporary: Andrea is having dinner with a friend. (it’s not permanent)
