Dear Mariana Lafon,

I am writing to express my heartfelt appreciation for the soul-stirring song you’ve shared with the world. Your performance brought both warmth and a** few tears**, creating a profound emotional connection. The way you artfully explored the theme of family struck a chord with me, making me reflect on the significance of those bonds a little more deeply. Your ability to infuse just the right amount of passion and tenderness sets your music apart, turning it into a powerful and resonant experience.

I can’t thank** you enough **for sharing your remarkable talent and creating a piece of art that goes beyond mere entertainment. Your song is a beautiful blend of thoughtful composition and captivating vocals, leaving an indelible impact. The lyrics are poignant, and your voice brings them to life in a way that’s simply too captivating to ignore. I want you to know that your music has had a profound effect on me, and I feel that’s interesting enough to express my sincere gratitude.

Lo escribiré en español porque suena más bonito y porque no sé si lo diré bien en inglés.
Esta ha sido una de las mejores clases de inglés que he visto 🤗 thnals a lot

In this class I am learning an interaction between a singer and a music producer. But the most important thing is the grammar and the interaction of the language in the conversation.
My favorite event was the creation of the melodies.
Mariana has a beautiful voice.

Hi Mariana! I really appreciate how you introduce your students at the music world and also apply all the knowledge we have already received about English, you are an awesome artist and signer, so I admire you for that. My favorite part was about musical production. It is very interesting all the process, even I feel like writing my own songs, but I think I am not good enough to do that. This workshop is very entertaining and useful
### **Summary of grammatical concepts** #### **1. Quantifiers** Quantifiers indicate the amount or quantity of something. They can be used to describe both countable and uncountable nouns. **Examples:** * “Let me give you **a few** instructions before we start.” * “Stand **a little** farther away from the mic.” * “I feel this will bring **a bit** of dynamics to the rhythm.” #### **2. Qualifiers** Qualifiers modify adjectives or other adverbs to indicate the degree or extent of the quality. **Examples:** * “I think it has potential, but I feel it's missing something as the emotions feel **too flat**.” * “That's truly **a beautiful** melody, Mariana, strong **enough** for it to be a hook.”
I love this class. The school has assigned a very good teacher who is also an actress, so this class is very interesting from the very beginning. Sometimes, I am a bit confused with some words, but I believe that if I am committed enough, I can comprehend this class.
In the musical context, a "hook" refers to a catchy musical phrase or idea that is designed to grab the listener's attention. It is often a memorable melody or lyric that recurs throughout the song, making it recognizable and appealing. In the transcript, the conversation about the hook emphasizes its importance in creating a song that resonates emotionally, showcasing its role in production and songwriting.
Hi Everyone! **The music production.** I think is beautiful when a singer and a producer can make a song fully toghether. The hook is the most representative part of a good song. This raw idea has enough potential. At the end it could need some adjustment, but a minor adjustment as a producer is not the same as a singer. Saludos, Maria CRM
In this class I am discovering the interaction between a singer and his music producer. But what is really fundamental is the grammar and the interaction of language within the conversation. My favorite event was the creation of the melodies. Mariana has a beautiful voice.
Wow teacher! this is a beautifull class!
u should do a course to make music!!!! this class was amazing
I'm enjoying this english course so much! I love music, so I think it's a great idea to learn english through music. I didn't know that our teacher was so talented. Se has a great voice and a great musical taste. I don't think I am talented enough to sing in front of people just like our teacher did. But I'd love to take a few singing clases. I'm a bit shy, but I hope someday I will become confident enough to sing in an auditorium.
She is an artist! Just Wow.
In this Module we saw a short History about music, starting with classical music with composer like Beethoven, Bach and other, and then how R&B started and influenced mostly of the musical genre as Rock, Pop, Blues, etc. In that class we learned some important use of the language like “By” to talk about composer, also “to” plus noun, “The” to specify something, the articles “a or an” in case to reference one thing, and when don’t use articles for example musical genres. After that we study compares with “Like..more than/better than” and “(not)the same as” to talk about preferences or when something like is more than another thing Finally we learn about quantifier(a little, a bit, a few)for another hand qualifier with two specific structures, too and adjective for example…too flat, and adjective plus enough example …interesting enough. Great course for the moment, to review so topic from another courses before 👍

This course is fantastic!
Hi I enjoyed. When You start to sing It was resonant too enought Your voice volumen too amazing The Hook was too interesting I would Have liked a little Bit long Thanks for shared
Hi, Mariana it's was a amazing class☺️ I think the composition enough sweet...I like your performance in the World of music bits. Congratulations!!
i like so much this class since it is different than the other ones i have seen so far, i really like your voice and how you express your feelings at this way
I learnt a lot of new vocabulary, it feels like a new experience, a had to search a few words to understand all the workshops but it wasn't too hard. Now I know a little about music and I hope that it helps me enough to talk about music production, but I think that I have to read a bit of this thema.
This is one of the best courses I have taken in Platzi. His production is amazing!
**Practice exercise** Hi, Mariana I wanted to thank you for all the knowledge I have achieved because of your classes, they are interinteresting enough to keep me watching and focused all the time, also for all the new vocab related to Art and Music so far, I think that I just need a little bit more of practice to manage them and use them in my day to day life.
wow this si really amazing.

Have you ever taken a look at the behind when you are listening to a music genre? Many histories and situations became music to what it is nowadays and that is what has been taught in this course.
Personally, I don’t have a favorite music genre I’ve always considered myself a bit weird because I can listen to a romantic and soft song until a very strong one. I always pay too much attention to the lyrics and that makes me feel the music very deeply.
I must confess that at the beginning I was a little skeptical about this course but we are finishing just the first module and have given me a totally different vision about music and art. Teacher Mariana is an excellent professional and her explanations are more than clear. I can’t wait to keep moving forward discovering more about music and enhancing my vocabulary more and more.

Hi everyone, my speech is about my life, because I like talking about that more than the course. I started this process two years ago, and now I feel better than at the time. I didn’t know anything about English; I almost failed the English course in school, and some friends made fun of me for that. Furthermore, I know the times change, and we also change. Likewise, I know that taking classes when I was a beginner was not the same as taking intermediate classes. The Academy was really incredible, but the feeling that we are a community doesn’t exist. I study alone, and sometimes I talk with people in other channels on Discord. It is very different; when I started, I repeated the same video a lot of times, and when it was clear enough, I continued with the next. I didn’t take the courses that I thought were too complex because I would be a bit confused. I never read a text in English, but that time I started, and I also started to watch series in English. That last was too interesting; I watched Suits, The Good Doctor, Pokémon, and What if? And much more.

It took more than a minute, or was a minute to read or a minute to create it? To express yourself and your likeness we need to know how to compare using the like… more than, and the better than, so I can express my self and tell that I like to understand a song more than sing it with out knowing what it means as you make in the module when you create a new song. Also using the quantifiers and qualifiers help me to give a better ideas of how many things or how well enough is something, or if is too loud or it need a few corrections, with a little practice I think I could use it for my day to day. There isn’t enough practice so we should practice writing our ideas, a few hours a day make us reach our goal, as creating a new song we need to practice and practice and study and study every day.
Hi teacher, I don't know how to express the amount of gratitud that I felt for your courses and learning methods. Ever since I saw for the first time, I knew you were an artist but **never** had I imagine the amazing person that I can see through the screen. I have learned plenty of grammar and structures, while as the same time I have loved every episode related to music. This song is especial enough to make me evoke too strong emotions; I can't wait to be heard it on Spotify. Thanks a lot, Mariana. You are one of the best teachers that Platzi English Academy has.
First of all thanks Mariana for your method, is so interesting and practical. Second of all, Old schools methods of Teaching english are too boring for many students, and doesn't put enough effort to wake the interesting. However with this method is not the same, It feels too real and a little bit tricky so that is interesting and excited.

During this module, I learned about several grammatical rules.

On the top of that, you covered articles in music and art, then preferences and comparisons, and finally quantifiers like the use of ‘enough,’ ‘too,’ and so on.

The best part of this module is the way you showed us how to put into practice all English vocabulary for a specific topic like music.

Hi Mariana. I feel that was interesting enough the methodology that you use for explain the different topics a long to module. Too, I could learn a bit of the process for make a song since a recording studio, with a few of resources you can to create a interesting class for apply the information in the real life. Was a incredible dynamic and I feel that this is the best way for enjoy learning.
I loved this class so much. I think it's very refreshing to learn english with this dynamic way and interesting topics. I'm looking forward to the next modules. I also think your voice is so beautiful and I can feel the energy that you put in this course. Congrats and thanks.
text about this class Thanks to Mariana for this class, but I am a little confused with some concepts, but I really want to learn more and practice more to understand all the concepts about the quantifier and chialifers, I am considering myself strong enough to improve my knowledge every time. day. Thank you for everything Mariana. You are a very good teacher, and your voice is very beautiful. In fact, more than a teacher, you are the best artist.

Blues music

Blues is both a musical form and a musical genre. Blues gets its name from its original association with melancholy subjects and sounds: when we have ‘the blues’, we’re feeling sad. However, blues has since developed to address other subjects and emotions, adopting a wider purpose of ‘chasing the blues away’ with music.

What’s the difference between blues and jazz?

Both musical styles resort to improvisation, but in blues it is more strict and classical than in jazz, although in jazz time is less limited than in blues.

Quantifiers and qualifiers

I often listen to sad music, it reminds me that in the end we are human and we have to let our feelings flow. But just as there are some sad moments, there are also many good moments where we have to enjoy everything we can. life is too short to be little

# Cuantificadores y calificadores en inglés para la producción musical Essay: In this class, we have learned much about quantifiers qualifiers, and musical production, We have even been able to appreciate a little the process of creation and the first recordings of a future musical production. I love the harmony and I think there are many ways to start the creation of songs, depending on the genre and the final purpose, the recording can have a few variations in some sounds in the drums, percussion, and basses, and step by step, it can introduce the lyric. Finally, we can see a little of how the music is taking shape. Excellent work teacher Mariana. Thank you for sharing it with us.

interesting class!

In this writing, I will practice quantifiers and qualifiers and talk about something about myself.
In a musical production, it is vital that the people involved agree with each other. I am a professional musician and I have had the incredible experience of recording. Laughter, a little stress, a lot of patience, and some practice help to achieve a good enough result.
Music is very special to me, it has been too important in my personal development.
Thanks for the musical plot in this class.

I like watching how they produce a song. It is awesome , I used to want to be a singer when I was a little girl, but I don´t have enough talent for that.
