My favorite Oscar nominated film is **Your Name**, written and directed by Makoto Shinkai. It's an anime romantic fantasy anime film about a highschool boy named Taki who is in Tokyo, a highschool girl named Mitsuha who is in the countryside and the love between them that starts when one day they begin to body-swap each morning.

I’m gonna talk about the film Oppenheimer, that won the award of best picture in 2023, this was a great movie made by the legendary director Christopher Nolan. We all know the story of the atomic bombs and how it destroys Hiroshima and Nagasaki, but what about the men that create that bomb? So the movie focuses in the moral dilema and struggle of Oppenheimer rather than the bomb itself, it shows us how not everything is black or white and all the weight of the movie is carried by Cilian Murphy, that give us the performance of the year, because he also won an award of best lead actor.
**Avatar,** is such a good movie, what I like the most about this film is that they represent nature and animals in a imaginary way but at the same time expressing that those creatures represent the animals and nature here in our planet and well I felt touch cuz the main species were whales representing that they have feelings and they deserve as well as us the right of freedom.
Anne Hathaway won an Oscar in 2012 with his role in Les Misérables. She acted as a prostitute that finished dying dramactically.

**Last weekend**, I watched *Interstellar* again, and it reminded me why it is one of the best science fiction movies of all time. It **came out** in 2014 and **was directed** by Christopher Nolan. The story **followed** a group of astronauts who **traveled** through a wormhole in space to find a new home for humanity. The visual effects **were** stunning, especially the scenes with the black hole and the other planets. Also, Hans Zimmer's soundtrack **added** so much emotion to the movie.
**A few years ago**, when I watched it for the first time, I **didn't fully understand** some of the scientific concepts, like time dilation, but this time I **appreciated** how they made it understandable for the audience. Matthew McConaughey **delivered** an incredible performance, and the ending **made** me cry. Honestly, it **was** a masterpiece that **combined** science and emotion perfectly.

I chose “The Secret in Their Eyes,” a film directed by Juan José Campanella. This Argentine film won the Oscar for Best Foreign Language Film in 2010. It is a gripping crime thriller set in Buenos Aires. The story follows a retired legal counselor who writes a novel hoping to find closure for an unresolved homicide case. The film is praised for its compelling screenplay, exceptional directing, and outstanding performances by the cast. The movie "Get Out" is one of my favorite movies. It was nominated in several categories. But was the winner in the Best Original Script category. It was well deserved, for Jordan Peele. He was the screenwriter and the director. He made history with this movie.

The movie “The Whale” was a very emotional movie. This film had the return of actor Brendan Fraser and his story was a true story that anyone can go through.
This is why it was one of my favorite movies of the year.

She begins to visit him in secret and the two form a close bond. She helps him escape from the lab and tries to take him to the sea to escape, managing to outwit her boss who was a spy, and in the end, after several difficulties, she ends up escaping with the creature.
According to director Guillermo del Toro, he had the idea of making it based on the movie 'Creature from the Black Lagoon' (1954), completing in the script what he thought should have been there. It’s an excellent movie.
In 1995 BRAVE HEART movie was nomintaed to 10 oscar awards but it only won five awards.
