• My canvas was an ipad. I love painting on this device.
It allows me to be very creative.
In this painting I colored a dragon, which is a mythological animal that I love and I made it very colorful since it expresses the complexity of life itself through imagination.
I used an iPad, an appel pancil and lots and lots of creativity.

haha if you are Mexican you will surely understand this image

I used to paint on canvas 10 years ago. I copied some paintings from Piet Mondrian and other artists using pictures from the Internet. I would like to start painting again soon.
Interesting!!

Before starting to paint I had to buy the things that I needed. i needed a canva, acrylic paints and squeegee. first i draw on the canva and i had to select the colors that i had to use . When i painted the sky i have to mix several colors like : red, yellow and white to give a tone of a beautiful sunset and i had to use the same technique for the sea to create different effects in the color blue. when i painted this art i had a lot of ideas from pinterest, becuase there you can find a lot of ideas to create something.
Thanks for this course it's amazing, i am ejoying it very much. The teacher is excellent and the videos are very nice.
I am creating different ways of drawing "Platzi", on this website dedicated to the painter Paul Jackson Pollock. [https://www.jacksonpollock.org/](https://www.jacksonpollock.org/) I am spreading, blending and selecting different colors with the left mouse button. I'm also smoothing or enlarging the strokes of my drawing by varying the speed of my mouse movement. And finally, I'm starting a new drawing with double click. ![](https://static.platzi.com/media/user_upload/image-41696682-b0ea-45a6-a48b-ecfb93055342.jpg)
Watching this class was so refreshing!! New word: `squeegee`: *a scraping implement with a rubber-edged blade set on a handle, typically used for cleaning windows.*

* Forma afirmativa: Sujeto + verbo "to be" (am, is, are) + verbo principal + "-ing" Ejemplo: "She is singing." (Ella está cantando.) * Forma negativa: Sujeto + verbo "to be" (am not, is not, are not) + verbo principal + "-ing" Ejemplo: "They are not dancing." (Ellos no están bailando.) * Forma interrogativa: Verbo "to be" (am, is, are) + sujeto + verbo principal + "-ing" Ejemplo: "Are you studying?" (¿Estás estudiando?)
![](file:///C:/Users/DOCENTE.LAPTOP-3M5MDTOR/Downloads/Picture.jpeg)![]()![]()![](file:///C:/Users/DOCENTE.LAPTOP-3M5MDTOR/Downloads/Picture.jpeg)This drawing was made in a sketchbook. It is in a cubist style inspired by Pablo Picasso. I love to sit and draw in my spare time, but in this case, the goal is to make a portrait of a family member. When I'm painting, I first choose the color palette, think about their favorite colors and the features I relate to that person. Then, I think about how I can recreate their face with geometric shapes to express it in my artwork. ![]()

**¡Manos a la obra! Usando el presente continuo en inglés** Present continuous. Create a sketch or a painting! This painting should reflect things you learned in this module. Provide a short explanation!. Procedure: 1\. I’m preparing my space: Place the canvas or paper on a flat surface and protect the work area with newspaper or plastic to avoid stains. 2\. Get inspired and plan: Think about the mood, colors or shapes you would like to express in your abstract painting. You are looking for inspiration in other works of art, nature or just let your creativity flow. 3\. Choose a color palette: Decide what colors you will use. You can select a limited palette for harmony or experiment with a wide range of colors for more intense contrasts. 4\. Apply a base coat: Cover the canvas with a base coat of a solid color. This can help establish a coherent background and provide a starting point for your painting. 5\. Experiment with textures: Use different techniques to apply the paint, such as sponges, brushes, spatulas, or even your fingers. This creates interesting textures in your work. 6\. Create layers: I’m adding layers of colors on top of each other. You can do this while the bottom layer is still wet for smoother blends or wait for it to dry for more defined layers. 7\. Play with contrasts: Experiment with color and tone contrasts. You can use complementary colors to create visual impact or similar tones for subtlety. 8\. Don't be afraid of mistakes: Remember that in abstract art, there are no strict rules. If you make a "mistake," think about how you can incorporate it into your work or how you can transform it into something interesting. 9\. Observing and adjusting: Regularly take a step back and look at your work as a whole. Adjust the composition, balance the colors, and continue working on areas that you feel need more attention. 10\. Let dry: Allow the paint to dry completely before handling or making final adjustments.
