Hi I'm from Colombia and the special date I choose is August 7th, on this day in 1819 the Boyaca's Battle was foughtfought , It was a decisive battle for the real Colombia's Indepency, after a falied indenpendency in 1812 (failes because the Spanish Crown recovery the country's sovereignty some months leter); in this Battle the Liberator army faced against the Spanish army, and the name of this battle its because this happened in Boyaca, a Department (like province or state) with many history in Colombia and it is where I'm born.

Hey! Im Battle of Carabobo, on 24 June 1821, was fought between independence fighters, led by Venezuelan General Simón Bolívar, and the Royalist forces, led by Spanish Field Marshal Miguel de la Torre.

Hi!. I'm from Argentina (or as I say with affection Argentinita :heart: XD). Yesterday we celebrated the "Día de la Bandera", dedicated to our flag and its creator, he died on the 20 of June in 1820.

I like a famous, special and traditional day in my Country:** "Day of the Dead"**. Traditionally November 1st honors deceased children and November 2nd honors deceased adults. The most of people creating altars decorated whit cempazuchitl flowers and our deceased's favorite food: bread of dead (delicious), weather, atole, pozole, tamales, mole, beer, etc. This day has its origins in indigenous Azteca traditions.
