Hi, I downloaded an audio about the Sumerians. I learned about their organization, culture, they were the first ones to write, and they wrote the famous tale "Gilgamesh Poem".

Hey, super students! This time I looked for an audiobook in YouTube. I suggest you to do the same in case you don't want to dive deep in this quest. The book I chose is Thus spoke Zarathustra by Friedrich Wilhelm Nietzsche, which is one of the most influential philosophy books and contains yet another notorious phrase:

But when Zarathustra was alone, he spoke thus to his heart: "Could it be possible! This old saint has not heard in his forest that God is dead!"
Talking about the exercise, it was a bit more difficult than expected 'cause it has some old English words, given the issue date. For example, thy which is an archaic or dialect form of your.

    hi everyone!

I listened a book called "One Small Step Can Change Your life". It's related to Discussion Club in Platzi today, because is about a way for to reach our goals: "Kaizen Method". Step by step, with small task, resolving small problems every day to resolved big problems. But there are many reasons more for select the kaizen method.

A beautiful quote: "Small thing with great love... It is not how much we do, but how much love we put into the doing. And it is not how much we give, but how much love we put into the giving. To God there is nothing small" Mother Theresa

    Hi everyone!!!

I try with the audible book and it was difficult to me, because, there was much new vocabulary. I listened and listened until I took some words that it gave me a context. I listened many times, but I think so I took a book very complicated. It will be a challenge for me, but I won't give up.

I am listening "Me before you" of Jojo Moyes. It's very fast, but, I try to understand it.

I listened the prologue and a some minutes of the chapter one for to complete my 15 minutes.

The prologue happen in 2007, it talked of the feelings and sensations that Will Trainor and his girlfriend feel in this moment and the xtreme vacations that they had prepared for the next weekend. His girlfriend was very happy of have been with him. Will was very worried for his job, because he had turn off the cellphone from the last night and he turned on it, he had much messages in this.

He was stressed and he get out until your office, but like, he is attending your business and your calls. He isn't look at mindfully: the climate, the traffic, although if he is conscious of this. But, unfortunately, it wasn't the enough concentration, for avoid the accident.

The chapter one happen two years later and it introduces to Lou. A girl that loses her current job. She describes a place where she lives and she describes her family, well, thoses that are in the house.

In this moment, I'm listening a moment very important, because, Lou is talking with her family about that she loses her job and I think so her family aren't taking it very well....

Hi everyone, day by day, we better! 👊

Here in this youtube channel I found a lot of audiobooks for listen. I choosen The mastery of destiny by James Allen. I had that activate subtitles because is so difficult catch the context, and this is some phrases what I understood...

Chapter one - Deeds character and destiny

    • Birth and death are inevitable
    • No have control in many situations in our lives.
    • Destiny sometimes call it by various names such as God, Providence, Faith, etc.
    • Man proposes God disposes
    • Cause and effect must always be equal.
    • The present is a synthesis of the entire past
    • The good man was not always good, the bad man was not always bad
    • Life is a great school for the development of character and all through strife and struggle, vice and virtue, success and failure are slowly but surely learning the lessons of wisdom.

this was difficult, i choose Sapiens from Yuval Noan Harari because i reading now his second book Homo Deus, Sapiens it is the first audio book i listened in my life i think, first Yuval tell us about how the universe came from nothing and crate the earth, then appear the homo sapiens and why we have 3 of the most important revolutions in our history.

    1. Cognitive revolution.
    2. Agriculture revolution.
    3. Scientific revolution.
