Although I already finished the English Career at Platzi, today I discover that Platzi going to launch new courses in this week! I so excited for take it and complete it. Let's go.

Well, for this challenge, I was looking for in my notes, and I found the topic to Wh questions, so that I share you my notes...

The WH Questions will help you to find different information. There are different types of WH Questions:

• What: For things or activities What do you do on the weekend?

• Who: is used for people Who do you work with?

• When: for events, time or moments When is your birthday?

• Where: to talk about places Where do you train?

• Why: to talk about reasons Why do you like candy?

• How: for processes How do you make cupcakes? How old are you?

Hi guys! :wink: In my class of English, I learn around "the use of going to". right now I'm going to learn you this: The "going to" is used for describing plans or intentions :D

The structure of "going to" is:

• Subject + verb to be+ going to+ verb+ complement

One example:

• I'm going to have a big birthday celebration

Remember us, the "going to" mean: Llendo a, vas a, van a :+1:

I'm excited about my learning! I don't take still some courses of the English career at Platzi, because I'm at the university,but I think that I'm going to take ones in 2 years approximately. OK,my topic is...

How to use either and neither. We use neither and either to say 'tampoco' in English.

EITHER Structure: pronoun+ auxiliar(-) /to be(-) /v. modal(-) + either Example: A. I wouldn't go with them B. I wouldn't either.

NEITHER Structure: Neither+ auxiliary(+) /to be(+) /modal(+) + pronoun. Example: A.They shouldn't go tomorrow. B. Neither should we or Us neither.

In a class with the teacher Caro, I learned 15 sentences to use in this interviews. Today, I used some of them. But for you, I share all:

1. Nice to meet you. In my experience, the recruiters fall in love you when they listen you, this sentence.

2. I saw your job posting on Linkedin.

3. I have done my research about your company and I am very interested in being part of your team.

4. I am a hard worker.

5. I am a team player.

6. I deliver on time. Today, I didn't say, but I did it.

7. I am a fast learner and I have a "Get this done" attitude.

8. I am a positive person.

9. I always go the extra mile.

10. I am very motivated to be a part of this company. In my experience, the recruiters loves you with this answer.

11. I think this will be a great place to start my career.

12. I would like to know more about the role.

13. How would you describe your company culture?

14. I look forward to hearing from you.

15. Thank you fro your time, have a great day. And even if, It wasn't for me this job, I gave them my thanks and I think that they stayed very happy with my interview.

I'm sad, but I see that I have improved my english.

Determiners we use determiners to express the reference of a noun in a given context. They tell us if the noun is specific or general. Example: specific: I need that cookie. general: I need another cookie.

Hey, super students. Today we'll review gerund in a nutshell.

Gerund is a verb as a noun or thing. We are very used to see the next sentence structure:

Can you imagine a verb in other place besides the middle part?

How do we use them? Usually, gerund can describe verbs that affects you, just like ++enjoy++ or ++love++

• It can act as a subject:

  Eating vegetables
  is part of a healthy diet ++Eating vegetables++ is the subject!

• It could play as object, after main verb She really enjoys

  taking photos of strangers
  ++Taking photos of strangers++ is receiving the action, so it's the object!

• Also after a preposition: She walked out of the room without ++saying++ a word

• Another use is along with common expressions: I can’t stand ++working++ with rude people

I think the most important topic I have learned in the last english classes has been know the difference between 'Had' and 'Has', It was so difficult for me, because the 'have to' expression is a semi-modal verb its conjugation in past change in both situation and it was so confused for me, after take a english lessons on platzi I know how use it correctly.

There is a lot of difficulties happening in my life right now, my last English class was since last week and i am doing my challenge days three or five of them if i have a opportunity these weeks , but i can't tell you about the topic i learned from a Canadian Youtuber LINUS TECH TIPS, something Freddy tell us about Mac in a Platzi live, the arm processor created by apple are going to change architecture that how we program our apps and os systems i think this will be the future because arm processors are more chipper to build and consume less energy

Hi guys! Well, I'm studying in the English writing Course. In this I have learned about the writing process (steps), how to generate ideas and how to work it for writing, outlining and writing about differents types of texts as email, formal letters and cover letters, how to structure a blog post, a business proposal, a resume. Teacher Paula is very good teaching in her class (also because she has an excellent and nice pronunciation, which allows you continue practicing your listening). She gave to us many tips to take into account when you writing in English. This course is very structured with important information maybe you already that knew, but you notice that is different for texts in English, especially in it's structure, for example emails, business proposals which depends on country, culture, and others relevant tips (Netiquette is key here). The most important thing to keep in mind is to understand the writing process such as a constant checking process not only about what you want to communicate and to who, also about check punctuation and writing. I recommend to you do it when you can. Have an excellent day Platzinautas!
