Hi, I watched a TV series called "Rust Valley" on Netflix, because I love old cars, and I learned a lot of vocabulary about mechanics, you know, parts of the car that I even didn't know in Spanish. It was great, I'm looking forward to watching the next season.

    Hi guys!

I watch the recently recommended video in the chat video. It's very interesting. It shows why the children learn languages more easily.

    I like this phrase:

While bilingualism may not necessarily make you smarter, it does make your brain more healthy, complex and actively engaged, and even if you didn't have the good fortune of learning a second language as a child, it's never too late to do yourself a favor and make the linguistic leap from, "Hello," to, "Hola," "Bonjour" or "你好’s" because when it comes to our brains a little exercise can go a long way.

Team platzi, thanks for all information! Regards!

    Hi everyone. 😎

I watched the Ted talk of Julian Treasure about of 5 ways to listen better. He talks with pretty fluency and I understood the major of ideas.

He exposes how we are losing our conscious listening to other people and the "art of conversation" is being replaced dangerously because we're becoming impatient. Sound places us in space and in time, sonority is time and meaning, he said.

I share you the 5 ways to listen better, according to him:

    1. Silence: Sometimes just three minutes a day of silence is a wonderful exercise to reset our ears and recalibrate them.

    2. The mixer: Is mix different sounds and be conscious of each one.

    3. Savoring: it's about enjoying "mundane" sounds, as a coffee machine for example.

    4. Listening positions: These are: Be active but passive as well, reductive and expansive, critical and empathetic.

    5. RASA: Acronym of: Receive, Appreciate, Summarise and Ask what you listen.
