    Hi platzi mates!

    Vocabulary

    Technical interview. A technical interview is an interview to ... your technical abilities and knowledge to requirements for the position. Job opportunity. A job opportunity is the chance or possibility to work in order to earn money. Engineering. Engineering is a branch of science in tech which involves designing, building and the use of engines-machines ... by the application of science and mathematics. Engineer. Engineer, the noun is the profession that someone follows or which a person has been trained in a branch of engineering. Developer. A developer is a person that develops software.

    The most important things for me.

    • You're having to demonstrate specific technical skills

    • To be honest

    • A way to practice is to record yourself

    And finally, I love this phrase of the Curso for job interviews:

    One important key to success is self-confidence. An important key to self-confidence is preparation. Arthur Ashe

    Hi everyone!

    The podcast is each time better! Congratulations Team Platzi!

    Ok first, the Trivia question:

    • What skill is leading the most in 2020? a. Teamwork b. Creativity c. Time Management

    Now, the vocabulary that I could understand...

    Soft skills most common in Tech industry:

    • Problem Solving
    • Thinking outside the box
    • Emotional intelligence
    • Persuasion
    • Adaptability

    In this episode, Jess and Paulina talked about skills, focus on Soft Skills. They exposed some kinds of skills there:

    1. ++Soft skills:++ is our personal habits
    2. ++Hard skills:++ technical knowledge
    3. ++Communication skills++: Active listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
    4. ++Interpersonal skills++: Skills that we use to communicate and interact with others.

    In my opinion, this topic is so important in organizations because this favors a good work climate, reach strong relationships based on confidence and honestness.

    Besides, training soft skills as a professional in any area, bring us new vision and more happiness, what it entails, better productivity and creativity.

    Thank you! 🙋‍♂️

    Hi everyone:

    In this episode, I learned the follow terms:

    ++Technical interviews++: It's the interview of technical abilities or knowledge about requirements of the position. Job opportunity: It's the change or possibility to work in order to earn money. ++Engineering++: It's a branch of science in tech which involves designing, building and the using engine machines since instructions by applications of the science and mathematics. ++Engineer++: It's the profession that someone follows or which a person has been trained in a branch of the engineering. ++Developer++: It's a person that develops software.

    In this episode, besides of in my course for job interviews, I have learned to that I must practice for my interviews, more if these are the technical interviews. I have had the experience, if you aren't prepared, you lose the job opportunity.

    Record yourself, before the interviews. During the interviews, you drink some water, breathe and you are must always honest. Don't forget it this. It's my advice, advice of Caro, and, advice of Shyly.

    I was surprised with one of the answers of the trivia questions. Ada Lovelace, is widely considered to be the world's first computer programmer, at least in the theoretical sense. You can imagine this, a woman. I follow without lost my hopes. Never give up!!!

    Ada says: "Understand well as I may, My comprehension can only be an infinitesimal fraction of all I want to understand."

    Thanks Platzi by amazing podcast.

    I enjoyed this episode because they give us three important tips before a job interview:

    You need to be prepared for your job interview if you really want to get the job.
