#100DaysOfEnglish - Day #93

How is my process of learning English at Platzi

I want to share you how has been my process in these months. I consider that, currently, my English level is intermediate B1 on my way to B2, therefore, I apologize for my bad grammar or mistakes in my writing.

My desire for learn English maybe came 10 years ago, and always, I have tried to study by my own, without go to a presential English school, just self-learning.

By my job, I postponed a lot of time this goal, and just in 2019, I knew to Platzi and I saw that at Platzi had exclusive English courses buying the subscription Expert, and with my need to learn Web development, it was the perfect excuse to buy it. I started with calm take the basic courses first and advancing step by step. Obviously, my monster, the job, delayed my progress and I couldn’t be constant.

I set my goal in 2019, finish the English Career. In my free time, I finished the courses and made every exercise proposal in the courses by @polibesa. I practiced myself and trying to better my pronunciation and vocabulary.

So, I could finish the English Career, in January 2020!
Before the pandemic I could attend to the last Live English Meetup, at Platzi HQ, with Anibal Rojas and I could to know to Carolina Boquin, Jess Harris and Paulina Novak.

March 2020 came and boom! The pandemic! The perfect opportunity to improve my skills, I thought. And result certain; because these great professionals of English Team, change the focus and update the entire English Career and better it.

So, I’m here. This year I have improved a lot!. I have had to chance that practice, talk with other people interested to learn as well in our virtual English meetups and complete all challenges suggested.

Today is the day # 93 of our challenge #100DaysOfEnglish just lack seven days!

And this day, our challenge consists in write about our progress in this three – four months of learning. Also, we are at an additional challenge… #CoursePerWeek, here, we must complete one new course per week and share our certificates on social networks or Telegram Group.

By the way, every Wednesday we have the privilege to attend an English meetup, when we have the possibility to share with other members of community and learn about a lot of topics prepared for the panelists.

Therefore, I must to congrats to every member of the English Team at Platzi, specially to Carolina Boquin, Isis Garcia and Conny Linares, who has done an excellent job, giving it a 180-degree turn to whole English Career.

They have created a big community on this year and the Platzi team has enriched with great professionals who have done fantastic new courses with all rigor and professionalism that Platzi is characterized.

The new English School it is to my concept, one of the best Schools in Platzi!
