Don't be so rude when someone says “no”.
-
Embrace rejections and learn about them.
-
Don't waste anyone's time, including yours.
-
Try to think about how would you feel if someone else offers you something that you are not interested in, or if you are busy and do not have enough time for the call.

And, be always respectful with the other person.

I really enjoy my work, I'm a developer and take every day as a new challenge to resolve and enjoy the process to investigation and create something new. About my likes and dislikes, I love to learn about new languages, love to play volleyball, listen to music, make extreme sports and share time with my family. My grandfather is a Korean War veteran and thanks to him, I learned about Korean culture and languages so since 5 years ago I'm studying Korean, and listen a lot of Korean music not only K-pop that is very famous because of BTS, they have a really great music with another genres too like rock, ballad, R&B and Trot as you can see this is one of the things that I very enjoy is one of my hobbies to watch k-series, and practice Korean. One thing more that I really Enjoy is to share time with my family but specially with my little sister, she is my favorite person in the world, and we have the same hobbies so is great to practice volleyball or go to a paragliding sometimes. About my dislikes I really hate the beetroot, I can't eat it or smell it's so disgusting for me. I dislike queuing at a restaurant, sometimes I'm so impatient, so I can't wait even if the restaurant is so famous. I dislike to give up without make all that is possible, first I really have to give all my effort to achieve my goals then if I can't achieve it I'll know, I did my best.

EstudianteYes, sometimes I have received cold call, is strange because you don't know who you're talking, for example I greet and as normally and them wants selling directly, is very upset.
Like in the real life, if you don't know the person, first have to talk naturally with the customer, take the time to know he/she in genuine way, then talking about what gonna to sell, this will be my advice for the people give cold calling job
Erika De La Luz Castellanos
Estudiante3️⃣Advanced . Have you ever received a cold call? Yes, of course. I got a cold call from different banks.
How did you feel about it? I felt really uncomfortable because I had no interest in that. And just to be respectful, I listened to the entire or almost complete speech. But when I said, “No, thank you. I'm not interested in” the person almost always responds in a very rude way. And, I don't know exactly what could be the best way to say “No, thank you.”
What advice would you give to someone in a cold-calling job?

Hi! I'm Oscar and this is the way I introduce myself to people. I'm 34 years old but I look like older than that because of my beard. I live in Iztapalapa, in the border of Coyoacan, in Mexico City. I work as DBA at an IT consultancy. I used to work at Toluca, but pandemic made me come back to the city and I work at home office since almost two years. That is a huge success about my routine because I didn't like to go to Toluca for working. I like to learn new things the most of time and be better about things I use to do. I love to read books. I belong to a reading club and every friday I have a video whatsapp meeting where we discuss about the book we are reading. The book we are reading now is called "I'm travelling alone" written by Samuel Bjork and it is a scandi nordic crime fiction book. Also I love to play video games. Last year I bought a Nintendo Switch Lite and I have been playing Pokemon Shield and Fortnite since then. Not an usual as that but I like to play another games like Animal Crossing, Octopath Traveler, Hollow Knight, Dead Cells, Mario Rabbids Kingdom, Mario Kart 8, Smash Bros Ultimate, Hades, Untitled Goose Game, Stardew Valley and many others that I play a bit. And the things I'm just learning are playing ukulele, data science at Platzi, machine learning at Kaggle, calygraphy at Domestika (this one is at stand by because I'm focused at technical knowledge and music abilities) and playing harmonica. If I be reallistic, time I spend at Platzi is bigger than others activities, mainly for the challenges I suscribed. I do exercising everyday in the morning. In fact, when the sun rises I already doing workout. That's why my available time increases and I can use it for doing many other activities. I do more things around the day but they are common things hehe.
Greetings!
