PreguntaWhat is the difference between ‘hate’ and ‘dislikes’?
Francisco Ponce
"Hate" and "dislike" are both negative emotions, but there is a difference in their intensity and degree.
"Hate" is a very strong emotion that conveys a deep and intense feeling of dislike or animosity towards something or someone. When you hate something or someone, you have a strong feeling of aversion or even hostility towards them. For example, if you hate a particular food, you may find it repulsive and refuse to eat it, or if you hate a person, you may feel intense anger towards them and want to avoid them.
On the other hand, "dislike" is a milder form of negative emotion, which suggests a lack of pleasure or approval for something or someone. When you dislike something or someone, you may not enjoy it or them, but you don't necessarily feel the same level of intensity as you would with hate. For example, if you dislike a particular type of music, you may not listen to it, but you don't feel a strong emotional reaction towards it like you would with hate.
