En el idioma inglés puedes expresar que una acción ocurrió u ocurrirá inmediatamente después de otra. Esto lo puedes lograr al añadir un condicional, al principio de la oración o en la mitad, con “As soon as”.
Puedes expresar el momento de ocurrencia de una acción inmediata a la finalización de otra con la expresión “As soon as” (Tan pronto como). “As soon as” es un conector de oraciones y condicional.
Las premisas de la oración pueden ser intercambiadas de lugar y mantener su significado. También puedes utilizar esta táctica con diferentes tiempos verbales como el pasado simple o el pasado perfecto.
Veamos algunos ejemplos:

It’s a phrase that states the soonest possible moment in time that an action could happen.
The expression AS SOON AS can go at the beginning as in the middle of the statement.
For example (simple past tense):
AS SOON AS I finished work, I went to the grocery store (I’m expressing that at the soonest possible time that I finish work, I went to the grocery store).

Past perfect tense:
