Woww great story!! you're very talented on imagination! congratulations!
There once was a man who lived in the middle of nowhere in the mountains, his name was Billy, he was used to living alone, although he enjoyed spending time in the forest, surrounded by all the creatures you can ever imagine. Like his father, Billy was a lumberjack who had always lived in the mountains, his best friends were coyotes, his enemies were mosquitos and the only thing that worried him, was waking up and missing the sunrise. But everything changed one day

Story of Billy - the Lumberjack

My audio (favorite part):
https://voca.ro/19cj5WYrYvxv

Audiostory:

Like his father, Billy was a lumberjack who had always lived in the
mountains.
Billy was staring at the sky when all of a sudden, a strange silhouette approached him…
I’ve been waiting for years to meet you, Billy. I have always wanted to talk to you but I was waiting for the right moment…
I’ve been to so many places, Billy, but I never encountered what I was looking for… you.
Since the moment you were born you were meant to do great things. I’ve been watching you for decades and I recently realized I shouldn’t wait any longer.
Everything you understand and misunderstand… Everything you have…
It’s because of me.
He was still speechless and breathless and he could barely move.
Why do you want to know who I am if you already know it? You can’t just
ask and answer what is obvious.
As the silhouette vanished, Billy started to realize he was not dreaming.
What are you looking for?
to see if he was lucky or unlucky enough to meet that strange “silhouette” again.
…and pants were tighter than usual…
Like any other day,
His ax looked smaller than usual and he seemed to be taller than he
was before.
…immediately. He hit the second tree and the same happened. Billy was also stronger, so he wondered…
…here wasn’t a day in which you starved, there wasn’t a day in which you were unsafe
…Eventually you will find an inheritor, just like I found you.

Silhouette = silueta forest = bosque polish = pulir,perfeccionar starved = famelico,hambriento
  • This story reminds me chapters of the old testament 😃

Good lecture

  • Was used to. It’s a past course structure that we’ve learned.
  • Like his father. The use of it here means the way in similar position.
  • Was waking up to late. The use of the verb in its geround form.
  • I’ve been waiting. It’s a present perfect continuous form and it means something have been happening in the past and also in present have importance.
  • The other one. It’s something we learned in a past course as well. It means the other option.
  • what i was looking for. In spansih we could translate it like; For what i was looking for, but here, In English, we must do a small change to get a better composition.
  • Recently. The chat said: I recently realized. It’s something that had momment in a recent past.
  • Do and Undo. It’s a preffix added to say that something have not been did.
  • What are you looking for. As we see, the preposition goes at the end.
