Uso de "Although", "Though" y "Even Though" en Inglés

Puedes utilizar estas palabras para expresar contraste entre dos ideas. Similar al uso de “Despite” y “In spite of”, la única diferencia es la manera de conectar ideas. También existe una tercera expresión con “Even though”, veamos sus diferencias:

Though = Aunque

Although = Aunque

Even though = Aunque

• “Although” and “Even though” tienen el mismo significado.

  • "Even though" es más fuerte y educado.
  • Ambas son conjunciones.
  • Puedes utilizarlas al comienzo o en el medio de la oración.

• “Though” es ligeramente diferente.

  • Puede ser utilizado como adverbio.
  • Se utiliza más frecuentemente en el speaking.
  • Puedes utilizarlo al comienzo, en el medio o al final de la oración.

• Though he always listens to the same song, he doesn’t remember the lyrics.
• He doesn’t remember the lyrics, though he always listens to the same song.
• He always listens to the same song. He doesn’t remember the lyrics, though.

• Although she doesn’t have money, she wants to go on vacation.
• She wants to go on vacation, although she doesn’t have money.

Ejemplos de oraciones usando “Even though”

• Even though I am not his friend, he always talks to me.
• He always talks to me, even though I am not his friend.
