Whenever writing a blog post it is important to keep in mind the following aspects:

  • It's something interesting for the audience.
  • We are teaching something.
  • We have a question or a problem to solve.
  • We provide a solution to that problem.

Here I give you an outline that you can use to create your blogposts:

Introduction (one paragraph):

  • Provide information about the field or the context.
  • Call the reader's attention.
  • Provide your thesis statement.

Body paragraphs (two to three paragraphs):

  • Show information that supports the thesis statement, answers the question or solves the problem.
  • Provide supporting details for the previous idea.
  • Conclude the paragraph or make a transition to the next one.

Conclusion (one paragraph):

  • Make a short summary of the information.
  • Finish the paragraph with an additional question or an anecdote.

Challenge: Write a blog post about 3 possible ways of learning new things.
