Personalization: A composition about the past

Use the following example to create a composition about your past. Use the simple past with the verb be and other verbs.

I was born in Bogota many years ago, actually in 1988. My parents were very young when they had me. At school I was a very talkative kid, and my teacher didn’t like me. I was 7 years old when we moved to San Francisco. I was very sad when we moved because all my friends were here in Bogota, but I made new friends and kept contact with my old ones.
