Ahora que ya aprendiste a utilizar How much ? para preguntar acerca de cantidades de sustantivos incontables. Utilicemos esta estructura para preguntar y responder el precio de cualquier artículo de compra.

Cómo leer y responder precios de artículos

En inglés, los precios están divididos por un punto decimal, donde la parte entera son dólares, pesos, libras o cualquier tipo de moneda.

• $6.00 = six dollars
• $6.50 = six dollars and fifty cents

Practiquemos el uso de precios

Contesta las preguntas según el precio que corresponda.

1. How much do the pears cost? ($4.80/kilo)
2. How much do the cookies cost? (€1.50 each)
3. How much is it in total?
   • Pizza = £5.95
   • Pasta = £7.45
   • Salad = £7.95

Respuestas

1. They cost four dollars and eighty cents per kilo.
2. They cost one euro and fifty cents each cookie.
3. They cost twenty one pounds and thirty five cents.
