When describing parts of a group, we often use expressions like "all of," "none of," and "most of." These expressions help us specify how much of the group we are talking about.

All of refers to the entire group.

  • All of the emails are going to be deleted.

None of refers to zero or no part of the group.

  • None of the files were found in the storage room.

Most of: Refers to a large part of the group, but not all.

  • Most of the tasks were finished ahead of schedule.
