In this class I am learning an interaction between a singer and a music producer. But the most important thing is the grammar and the interaction of the language in the conversation. My favorite event was the creation of the melodies. Mariana has a beautiful voice.

Summary of grammatical concepts

1. Quantifiers

Quantifiers indicate the amount or quantity of something. They can be used to describe both countable and uncountable nouns.

Examples:

“Let me give you a few instructions before we start.”
“Stand a little farther away from the mic.”
“I feel this will bring a bit of dynamics to the rhythm.”

2. Qualifiers

Qualifiers modify adjectives or other adverbs to indicate the degree or extent of the quality.

Examples:

“I think it has potential, but I feel it's missing something as the emotions feel too flat.”
“That's truly a beautiful melody, Mariana, strong enough for it to be a hook.”

Practice:

I like listening to Cumbia on Fridays but sometimes after listening for a few hours, I feel I've had enough. Many times the percussion is too loud and the vocals sound a little sharp, so I need a bit of silence.

In this class I've learn more about quantifiers and qualifiers. Also now i know more about the process that comes with creating a song. I considered that this class is the most cool at this point of the workshop. Its like learning by watching a story and doing the worksheet doesn't feel boring at all.

Well, this module started a bit soft, to be honest, It didn’t feel so interesting at first, however, when I listened to the music and saw how the activity was taking shape, I couldn’t help feeling intrigued. Suddenly, my lack of interest was gone and I was really interested in the song. Besides that, the whole process of creating the hook was wonderfull; the fact that I wasn’t only taking a English class, but also learning how song creation works, was amazing. I really appreciate that this module was such a great learning experience.

In this class I mainly learn about quantifiers (a bit, a little, a few) besides I learn about the process of music production. It's so interesting that just one part of a song can take hours to produce.

Music causes on me a special effect, everytime I listen to music I feel good. Like anybodyelse, I have a few special songs that I like to listen everynight before going to bed. There are too many good songs but you always have those you prefer. Some song are too good to be heard just once, specially when the lirycs reminds you that special person that you loved.
