Ya sabes qué ponerte dependiendo la estación del año y cómo describir la ropa. Veamos a continuación vocabulario apropiado a la hora de utilizar la vestimenta.

Phrasal verbs	Significado
Put on	Ponerse (la ropa)
Take off	Quitarse (la ropa)
Dress up	Vestirse
Try on	Probarse (la ropa)
Hang up	Colgar (la ropa)
Wrap up	Envolverse (ponerse mucha ropa)
Zip up	Cerrar (el cierre de una chaqueta)

Veamos algunos ejemplos utilizando estas frases:

During the winter, Ana puts on her coat before leaving the house.
When he arrives at his house, he takes off your shoes.

Phrasal verbs for clothing

Put on: When you are dressing yourself or other person.
Take off: When you remove the clothes.
Dress up: When you put on your best clothes.
Try on: When you go to the store and try on the clothes to see if they fit you.
Hang up: To hang your clothes with hangers.
Wrap up: When you put on warm clothes.
Zip up: When you put on your zipper.

What to wear:

Depending on the situation.

Casual: When you want ton feel comfortable.
Dressy casual: When you dress up a little bit more than in a casual situation. Nicer clothes.
Business attire: Is the kind of clothes you wear in a formal environment.
Cocktail: What you wear at parties.
Black tie: Is what you wear at weddings for example.
White tie: When you need to be fancy.

I generally use casual clothes beacause I want to stay comfortable, and I think after 2020 mostly people wear casual clothes day by day. In my job, I´m maths teacher, and me and my coworkers wear dust cover and we can use casual clothes under them. In my free time, I practice roller skating, so I need to wear sport clothes for them. I only use coktail when I go to a party. So, in that moments I need to try on and buy new clothes!!

For a job interview, I usually dress formally. I wear a long-sleeve dress shirt, black dress pants, a tie, black leather shoes, and a belt.

At a party

At a party, it depends on the type of event. Most of the time I wear a plain white or black cotton T-shirt, ripped black jeans or oversized pants, and casual shoes or sneakers.

During winter, I usually wear warm clothes such as boots, a sweater, or I wrap up in a coat and gloves.

In a job interview:

I put on a long sleeve shirt with a dress pants, high heels, and discreet accessories.

At party :

I wear jeans and whit cotton T-shirt with a blazer, if the party is at night.

I f the party is on the beach I wear a swimsuit , I put on a short, and espadrilles.

At wedding: I wear a long blue lace dress with flats for my comfort.

It depends of the dress code of the wedding, but I really love to look so top or Fancy on a wedding because I think is a really special moment for join to your friends, because of this I use a dress always maybe short or large but dress and heels.

At interview I ask to the company what dress code use there, if I have answer I looks just with the recommendation, if don’t have context I try to look the most formal possible for cause the best first impression.

And on a party with my fiends, I prefer to feel so comfortable, so I wear jeans and sneakers and a design jacket.
