Cómo Hacer y Responder Sugerencias en Inglés

Veamos ahora vocabulario para realizar sugerencias y responder a estas.

Haciendo Sugerencias

You can start by saying:	Puedes empezar diciendo:
Let’s… (verb)	Vamos…
Why don’t we… (verb)	Porque nosotros no…
How about… (verb + ing)	Qué tal si…
What about… (verb + ing)	Qué pasa si…

Veamos algunos ejemplos:

• Let’s go to the park together.
• Why don’t we call Ana to see if she is fine?
• What about going to a movie tonight?

También puedes usar verbos como “Suggest” o “Recommend”.

• I suggest we go inside the store before they close the door.
• I highly recommend you study English every day.

Respondiendo a una Sugerencia

What a good idea.	Que buena idea.
Yes, that would be lovely.	Sí, eso sería encantador.
OK! Let’s do that.	¡DE ACUERDO! Hagamos eso.
Good suggestion, thank you.	Buena sugerencia, gracias.
Brillant!	¡Brillante!
OK! All right!	¡DE ACUERDO! ¡Bien!
Why not?	¿Por qué no?
Maybe later.	Tal vez después.
Not now.	Ahora no.
I’d rather we didn’t.	Preferiría que no lo hiciéramos.
That’s a terrible idea.	Esa es una idea terrible.
I don’t feel like it.	No tengo ganas
I’m sorry but…	Lo siento pero…
Sorry, I can’t.	Perdón, no puedo.

Otra forma de realizar sugerencias en utilizando las palabras “Have to”, “Should/Ought to”, “Could” y “Conditional”.

• If we study English every day, in one year you can speak it.
• If I were you, I would buy that watch.
