Chapter 14: The real legend of Ra

Ahmed suggested to negotiate with Ra’s brother, give him something he wants in exchange of the Ra’s reliquary. Ahmed told the students the real story of Ra. He was born as a normal human, but at some moment he was visited by other world spirits and they showed him the treasure of life and death and that’s the reason of Ra’s ascension to power. It was Martin Sanderson the archeologist that discovered the map. If they could offer that map to Ra’s brother there could be a chance to get out of there. Max tried to call his father, but there wasn’t reception on that place. When Jake mentioned Tony, Ahmed recognise that name as the research assistant of Martin Sanderson. Max explained that they had an argument and his father fired Tony. Finally Max could talk to his father by phone. He is coming there. Jean Paul appeared moments later.

Ahmed told them the true story of Ra.
There is a map discovered by Max’s father that might be interesting to Ra’s brother. They can exchange it for que Ra’s reliquary.
Max has the hunch that the map is inside the box he brought to Egypt.
Tony was the research assistant of Dr. Martin Sanderson, but Martin fired him.
Max achieved to call his father.
They found a small crack on a wall where they can pass the map to them.
Jean Paul appeared at the other side of the crack on the wall.

Ahmed says that Ra’s Brother has always wanted something. He reveals that he can read ancient hieroglyphs and that Max’s father, Dr. Sanderson is the one who can help them. Max tries to call his dad, but there’s no reception. However, he calls Jean Paul who is on his way to give them the map. Also Ahmed mentions that Tonny is Dr. Sanderson’s assistant. Well… actually he was his assistant because Dr. Sanderson fired him. Finally, Jean Paul arrives there to help them.

Powerful means:

Having a lot of power to control people and events.
Having a lot of strength or force.
Having a very great effect.

Mighty means:

Very large, powerful, or important.

There is no problem in say: "Ra was not always as mighty and powerful". You don't break any grammar rules; that expression it's used to highlight the point. And also, you can say only one of the adjectives.
