A veces puedes estar muy seguro de algo que sucederá o realizarás en el futuro. Expresa seguridad sobre una acción futura de manera muy formal con “Shall”.

Si tienes una convicción personal de algo que harás en el futuro, puedes expresarlo utilizando la palabra Shall.

Veamos algunos ejemplos:

La palabra shall es propia del inglés Británico y muy utilizada. Pero practicamente no se utiliza en el inglés Americano. Es recomendable evitarla, ya que se suele utilizar para bromas. En su lugar, utiliza “will” o “going to be” como has visto al comienzo del curso.

También es importante conocer este vocabulario para rendir exámenes internacionales como el IELTS.

I love “shall”. My co-worker uses it a lot and learn it. But it is interesting to learn, don’t use this work speaking with American speakers.

Until more or less 2012, The Economist used “shall” in a obsesive way. Since then, they tend to use “should”. Maybe for not so as not to be a joke in the US.
Strategy for UK English? Maybe you should read The Economist or BBC puting “Mr.” at any person.
